    hey chuck,

there's a ducati demo ride this weekend at newcombs ranch:

Ducati Demo Rides at Newcomb's Ranch - Pro Italia Newsletter

    PRO ITALIA MOTORCYCLES
    Contact Pro Italia 818 249-5707 | Online Store & Catalog 818 249-5707

Ducati demo rides at Newcomb's Ranch - this Sunday! Reserve your spot now.
Join Pro Italia for a demo ride on the roads of the Angeles Forest as Rick and the PI Demo Truck will be located at the Newcomb's Ranch this Sunday, May 3rd at from 10-3 PM. We want to make it easy for you to experience what it is like to ride a Ducati. To do that we'll be bringing a selection of Ducatis in our truck to great places to ride starting with our nearby canyons.

The Deal: we'll have a Monster 1100S, Hypermotard, Multistrada 1100 and an 848 on-hand with escorted demo rides leaving hourly. You must make a reservation to ride, have a current moto license, proof of insurance and your own gear (jacket, helmet, long pants, footwear and gloves). All that gets you a demo ride on an Italian motorcycle in one of the country's finest riding locations.

Reservations are required. Make your reservation by calling Rick at 818 249-5707 or emailing Pro Italia Sales (sales@proitalia.com). Great riding weather is here. Take advantage of it with a ride on a motorcycle built in Bologna. Newcomb's Ranch is located on Angeles Crest Highway, past the Mount Wilson turnoff. Here are directions.

    Other News
    - Hypermotard - more miles between fill ups: Now in stock and available is a Ducati Hypermotard 6.4 gallon tank by California Cycleworks. With your stock tank you are probably looking at a riding range of more or less 90 miles - with this expanded tank you can expect around 200 miles (depending on your riding style naturally). We've also added some Rev'it gear to the site and store and have some Superbike rearsets listed at a sale price.

    - Leather suit rentals: Apparel Manager Karen is making leather suits available for track day rental. $85 gets you a weekend use of a Vanson Volante perforated race suit. Most sizes available. Call Pro Italia Apparel to arrange a fitting, for more information or to place a reservation: 818 249-5707

    - MotoGP Pit Walk: Heads up! A recent email from Mazda Raceway at Laguna Seca hipped us to some interesting news for the USGP weekend. FYI: "Fans with a Friday or a 3-Day general admission ticket and paddock pass will be able to experience on Friday, July 3 The MotoGP Pit Walk, which will take place between 11 AM - 1 PM. Fans will be able to see what goes on inside the MotoGP pits and garages up close and personal, and it is expected that some of the star riders will be meeting fans and signing autographs." Tickets must be purchased from Laguna. Click for tix or call 1-800-327-7322 for info. As usual we'll be there between turns 2 and 3. Start making plans!

    - Tech Talk on May 31st: On Sunday, May 31st, at 11:30 AM, Pro Italia will host an hourish long Tech Talk where one of our Factory Trained Technicians will talk about basic care and attention for your motorcycle. The Tech Talk is free. The Tech Talk will be followed by a televised broadcast of the 250 GP and MotoGP races from Mugello. Mark your calendars. These events and all others are listed on our PI calendar page.

    - KTM Red Bull Rookie Cup bikes available: You need a lightly used, and completely rebuilt KTM RC125 2-stroke race bike. We've a line on some available Red Bull Rookies Cup motorcycles. A few images and more info is on our blog.

    - Vanson Rep in-shop this Sunday: Vanson Rep Kim will be in our shop on Sunday. She'll be available for custom measuring, and we will take $100 off any Vanson suit purchased on Sunday. Contact Apparel Manager Karen (818 249-5707 or apparel@proitalia.com to set up an appointment.

    - Thank you: A hearty thank you to all the PI riders who came out to watch many hours of top-flight international motorcycle roadracing last weekend. We had a great turnout of new faces and valued regulars and Apparel Manager (and chef) Karen's heart was touched that there was not a bit of vegan chili leftover at the end of the day.

got this emai yesterday from pro italia.

4 times a week, if you count commuting! Haven't been on a "real" ride since we did the Charity Big Bear thing. Ask Jason and Shayne how it was, I think they are still "paying" for it. HA HA
