You Know You're Getting Old When:

You know you're getting old when you spend more on bike accessories to make things more comfy than you spent buying your first bike.

 

You Know you are getting old when: You go to a Vintage / Historic Bike show, & you see a bike entered in the show that was your first New bike Purchase.

 

You know you're getting old when:

the names you know in the obituary section are higher in numbers that those you know in the Graduation sections.

 

You know you are getting older when............

You pay $30 to go to the movies and fall asleep shortly after watching the upcoming previews.

Hell, I know I'm old 'cuz I welcome the (rather frequent) pee breaks in order to stretch out the old bones. I used to be able to ride a sport bike between gas stops.

 

THANK YOU!!! I had been searching high and low for that thing! As soon as I read your post, I remembered I put it next to the ice cube tray!

 

The amount of miles ridden in one day exceeds the number of minutes napping.....




OR, the idea of spending a couple of grand to get a bike comfortable doesnt bother you anymore.


See, getting older and wiser and kicking the cubs to the curb DOES have its advantages!!!!!!!!

 

Oh yes, but not just your 1st, but 2nd, 3rd......And the pisser, the 1st bike is worth more money than you have in your retirement account

 

You just had a proud moment yanking out a nose hair and gaze in wonder at how long that bastard is.

your car gets bigger, and you go slower.
There is more hair in your ears than there is on your head.

 

I didn't realize there were that many of us "In the know"!

 

When you know just what to do when you SHART....

 

I still say its when you notice yer bozac getting in the way. If you are finding yourself noticing and or adjusting your balls, yer getting old.

 

You know you are getting old when you look down and you see your blinkers have been on for the last 15 miles.

 

Fortunately my truck has an alarm to let me know that is happening. It worked many times on this present trip.

 

You know you're getting old when...

...you go to the doctor's office and you're OLDER than the doctor! ...and the receptionist ...and the nurse ...and people start offering you their seat when you walk in.

 

You know you are getting old when

the hairdresser (not the barber anymore) asks if you want your eyebrows and ears trimmed
( or doesn't even ask! )

 

You know your getting old when your nose hairs blend in nicely with your moustache.
