Yes, frame sliders would have prevented all of the damage caused BY A SEMI RUNNING THROUGH THE VFR!

    Jesus . . .

Just to clear the air, I am HWP 6' 1" and as of yesterday aboot 210lbs. I was aboot to jump in the shower and unless I miss my guess I was still a dude.

I skipped half of the third grade and any trauma that might have ensued. My new A3 teacher was Mrs. Bentwood. She was nice. I got to play Abraham Lincoln in a little play we presented to the local PTA. I got to recite the Gettysburg Address.

In light of the recent spate of gender benders and removal of ware that only was hard on occasion, I thought you'd appreciate that there are many instances of plastic surgeons hanging themselves.

I don't know who you remind me of. Thankee Jesus it ain't SOW or Norcalboy or any one of the closet harleydoods who climb aboard on occasion.. ;)

Keep all this stuff under your hat..until you talk to "your" lawyer. Like A-man said. This is discovery and you are holding the hole card.

Basic info for everyone else IMO is fuck em..here and there.

Lots of two laners in my hood in Ogeron. I see all manner of vehicles over the lines every time I ride or drive.

I'm not an attorney but I have instant access to one.. if I'm nice..

Ya go to the dentist palmer will fix you up, might as well spend $10,000 on a set of Gold teeth like jaws had in that Bond movie with that $10,000 the dr killer can go bag a Baboon in Africa. One tip all the gear in world won't help you in another truck crash-the real tip is don't hit the truck.:beguiled:

"Jaws" as played by actor Richard Keil (RIP) had stainless steel bridgework. He may have had a gold middle finger for SOW who get things wrong every time he chimps in.

See what I get for trying to hook up SOW with what could be the love of his life? Just ain't no respect from some dudes. Some of those 300 lb. harleydudes like long walks on the beach, cuddling in front of a warm fire and large economy size tubes of KY Jelly.

I always hate to hear about someone going down, but glad to hear that it wasn't as bad as could have been. Hope your insurance, or theirs is good to you.

The hinge point on something like this is who is at fault. What defense is there when a bigass truck crosses into a lane of oncoming traffic and leaves a rider and motorcycle in that condition?

What is left to guesswork is how Canadian insurance outfits work.

The only bad outcome to this one is if Jeff uses the compensation to buy a Harley.

I've already found several replacement VFR's (not many locally) ... one super close by but no ABS. I have to go about 6-8 hours ride West to find one with ABS. I think I'm going to go for it though.

I should have the bike payout by the end of this week or late next week according to my adjuster.

I'm dealing with a lawyer in WI for the injury portion, as well as discussing with our public motor vehicle insurance company (they handle both the vehicle and injury claim separately).

I can't confirm or deny that ... I can say that there are some details I wasn't privy to because I was forced to lay still, get loaded into an ambulance, and rushed off to the Emergency room.

I can tell you that the took a lot of blood from me, along with a few urine samples. I can say 100% with certainty that I was clean and sober.
