When I was working for FedEx, if I saw The American flag displayed wrong, I'd stop and fix it if I could.
The rule is to put the blue star field in the top left as you would see it, no matter if the stipes are running side/side, or up/down.....
    Nice bike though:thumbsup:

I just picked mine up this year. Wasn't nuts about the color at first, just knew I wanted a 5th Gen. She sat under a porch for a year, so it's going to take some time to get her where I want:

Jeebus, that's a tiny pic... gotta work on that.

Yellow is mellow! And once you've had yellow and black, you'll never go back! Yellow rules!

The first time I rode a VFR, back in '92, I promised myself that I'd have one someday; I just didn't know it would take this long.

My new to me VFR, to which I've added 2000 miles in the past month (without being able to get out for a really major ride):

I have a red '98 and bought some used yellow Beetle Bags that I had painted red to match. Maybe I should have gone the other direction.

Best thing to do with the airhead beemers is leave them alone. They suffer from "the rule of three". Translated: Any part that is replaced with a farkle or a mod needs to have the part in front of and behind replaced too. Aka, if ya wanna go fast bring your wallet.

    How 'Bout Yellow and Blue

Thought I might drop a pic of my old 85 VF1000F. Before the purists take a hold and give me a verbal lashing, the bike was this color when I purchased it from the previous owner. The bike now resides with my best friend Doug in Calgary and she is still running strong (though not frequently enough as Doug says he never seems to have the time to ride it much any more). This was the bike that introduced me to the world of the VFR and indeed to VFRWorld. I'm now on my 4th VFR and doubt I could ever consider another kind of bike.
