I generally like it, but I'm with Puma a bit. I seems they tryed to blend "classic" and "current" and this was the result. I think the Paul Smart bike is better looking.

Just another 2 cents - the new pics of the naked CB1000 I think is gorgeous. Add a mini quarter fairing (al la monster or KX1100) and I buy it.

Perhaps they should have made it with a full fairing like the '82 CB1100R?

It's better; it reminds me of my much-loved CB-1, but I think the CB-1 was still a better looking bike than the CB1100. It had a more muscular stance, and an incredible little motor from the CBR400RR with gear-driven cams. It was quite the bike. i used to go in to tight corners with it at 9,000 rpm and downshift TWO gears....it would scream like a Tie Fighter exiting the corner. I miss it...

That would sound very cool, there is something to be said about small capacity high reving multi cylinder engines. Sometimes think an RVF400 would make a great 2nd bike for my nearby twisties as max HP doesn't mean much and Motards are as quick as large capacity Sports bikes.
