yeah, I have noticed that also... at least most of the time. I have had some on tap that weren't better but that s pretty rare and usually a prob with the keg or mix or some such, I think...

In many cases, unless the keg beer is tampered with, ie watering it down at the retail level, the only difference between draught beer and bottled beer, is that the bottled beer is pasteurized. Bud in the bottle is pasteurized but on tap it is not. Molson Canadian in the bottle is the same beer as on tap, just without the pasteurization issue. Same with the other name brands. Shelf life for pasteurized beer is much longer than tap beer. Pasteurization will change the flavour of beer somewhat. A substantial number of people I know do prefer draught to bottled and visa versa. This is a matter of personal taste. Of course there are brands out there that are available only in one way or ther other.

A little tid bit for you guys from someone who had worked for a few years in a brewery plant.:cheersaf:

YOu da man. If they wanted it to taste like citrus fuit, they would brew it that way. Straight up, cold and fast.

well, just got word from my friend in the beer business. he's getting me a keg of coors light for a deal I couldn't pass up. I generally don't get a light beer for the kegerator much less a plain old domestic, but the BBQ is coming up and this keg should be a bit bigger and last a little longer than the last one did. I think we polished off the firestone keg in a couple hours. I guess another plus to the light beer is that I can drink it all night and never feel hungover...
