XJR1300 - Talk me out of it please

Xjr1300 !! Never seen or heard of that before now. We, in USA, have FJR1300 sport touring bike, which has serioucly tempted me.

I vote with those who say get two bikes - I currently have my VFR and a Wee-Strom. Looking at maybe also adding a Goldwing (wife's request). For me, one bike can't do all.

this is my 1998 Kawi ZRX 1100 ELR ( eddie lawson REP). in a moment of foolishness in 2005 i traded it in on a 05 R1...

what was i thinking?...:crazy:

i think this was the motorcycle equivalent of a middleaged man being tempted by a younger woman...:biggrin:

so now ive told the dealer to hound the guy that bought it and that i will buy it back as soon as they can get it...

so now i wait...

i will have ' my precious' back...:wink:

Had a nice green zxr1200 on my short list at the end of '03 when looking to replace my sv650s, the Blue Gen6 VFR I ended with at the time was the winner due to full fairing and able to do distances with ease which of course it did. :smile:

i had the ZRX12 also in candy lime pearl, mine had the purple stripes (02 model) instead of the black.

went into the honda dealer today, always lookin for a new bike ay...

got to sit on one of these bad boys..

she a big MAN size beast...feels much physically larger than the ZRX or XJR
nice layout though...MX style bars good instruments, nice ride posi...
very CB1100R feel to it...

that is one massive looking donk too..:thumbsup:
