My $.02...I've been pressure washing my bikes for years with no ill effects, you just have to be easy on certain areas, chain, airbox, etc. When I'm done washing, I use a leaf blower to blow off as much water as possible, works pretty well.

I pressure wash mine..been riding for 39yrs and never had a problem. Creaky summed it up best..just dont get crazy and stick the nozzle up the exhaust pipe..mind some areas and you'll be just fine.

Always keep the nozzle moving and avoid areas like wheel bearings or seals, the chain, etc.

The guts of those coin operated car washes are pressure washers. Pressure washers come in all sizes. Some of the big ones in use in shipyards will strip epoxy. Some of the small ones are about as effective as a watering can. Then ya got the tips and a pressure control valve on a good one.

Never or always about pressure washing is BS..

Never wash off your fingers with a pressure washer.

Always have water connected to the pressure washer when it is running.
