Geeze I hate to say it, but it may be my ceramic coated exhaust. Guess what.....it's RUSTING!!!! I've had it on the bike for under 800 miles. I "do" keep the bike outside, but it's stored in a breatheable zipup cover....but C'mon!!! I've got a post in here under red powder coated wheels. It's only been a couple of months and the cat has rust spots all over it. Now I gotta take it back off and have them re coat it.....which probably won't work either!!

i put some lowering links on my previous vfr. It was nice to be able to flat foot the bike but had a tendency to scrap the pegs a lot (more so at a track day than road riding). For my current vfr, no mods other than add the power outlet and mount for the radar detector. my next mod is to loose about 20 pounds of fat. that should improve things noticeably.
