World of Tanks

Have hauled tanks for movies but never played any games. The last time I really got addicted to a game, it was Ghost Recon
I'm afraid if I start playin there'll be no stopping me.

I know what you mean, I started playing World of Tanks over 5 yrs ago.. even though my computer isn't up to snuff to provided decent graphics or frame per second performance..

I played some 2 nights ago. Been getting a little more gaming in lately. Been fun.

Now, if only I could play more, or do better to get to the good tanks...

 

I've been at it for a little longer.. and so is my computer (more than 5 y-o).. I get about 20-30 fps at best during the game.. 10-20 fps is most of the time.

I conquer there are good tanks and bad tanks.. but most have their own specific strengths..

What tanks do you play the most?

Personally, I enjoy playing the Marder 38T, German Tank Destroyer: fast reload, decent mobility, great penetration and accuracy.. just no armor.. and low ammo count.. I run out of ammo in most battles.

 

Working my way up the new Swed TD line.. Tier 8 so far.. with free female crew.

 

Got the top tier Swedish TD.. after THIS epic battle in the tier 9 Swed TD.

 

I played for about six months last year. I was separated from my family so I had loads of time to mountain bike and blow up tanks. It was loads of fun but no time for it now and no computer fast enough to play anyway. I'll probably play again when time allows.

 

If anyone is interested in starting an account to play...
I received some invite codes that give new account free in-game goods and premium account time. Provide a good boost in game progression if you can set aside few hours to learn the gameplay.

I thought this thread would be about modifying a petrol tank to increase the capacity.

 

Well, armored vehicles originally called "tanks" to confuse the enemy intel by indicating their size on the battlefield to be "water carrier tanks" so they would not be threatening as weapons or protection for infantry.
