Update: The screen is done and cured up ready to be put on. I DID get a bit silly on mods today. Decided that my stock exhaust looked wrong. I'm inside for dinner, headed back to the shop shortly. Will have progress pics in a few hours.

Ok, more than a "few" hours but here I'm am. Like I said the "potato cannon" pipe had irritated me ass much ass the fairing on this bike. So first I located a short pipe to use as a mid pipe & scrowned around the shop. Located my stock pipes off my cb750, some 3'' tube and started cutting.

Then I started chopping and welding till a plan started to come together..Used stock pipe internals from my CB & a set of silencers that came from a gutted TL1000R pipe.

So I got the pipe tacked up, all but outlet tubes, ran and tested it the installed the fly screen, completing the front end streetfighter mod.

The pipe build is not finished, gonna go gloss black on it once it's all prepped and finished. I walked away from the build at about 10pm after it made me bleed 'nuff and I needed beer.

Anyway, if time permits I MAY continue on the pipe tomorrow or just enjoy my last day off till next weekend. I'm still liking the look so far.

Got up today and think I got a minor case of welder's flash. I think the final work on the pipe will be put off a bit.

What's welders flash? is it caused by drinking Keystone while welding?

Not wanting to let a day off go to waste, I did spenss a few hours finishing the main work on the pipe. I welded on the outlets, patched a few holes & got a good start grinding and polishing it out getting it ready to paint. I have to figure out a hanger and make some heal guards out of diamond plate.
