to get added compression, you're not gonna be able to mill the heads on any thing but a 6th gen, which has cam chains not gear driven cams.

or we could get one of the vf1000r engines for more cc's and build that up. im not sure if these are running timing chains or gears or what, but ive heard of people pulling 125 plus horse to the wheels outta these...

id personally like to get a 6th gen. port polish and mill the head. due a 6 angle valve job. see if we could figure out how to degree the stock cams a little more aggressively.
also if possible there could be some over bore options, like 919 929 or 954 pistons. i also saw the big bore kits the 5th gens...

a turbo or super charger is not necisarily out of the question... it just has to be concidered into the final sellable price candy. also longivity of the drivetrain has to be concidered. maybe a supercharger model for $2k more could be an option as an SS model? This is a project for group thought. We can build a better prototype for the next vfr! I am sure of it!:biggrin:

Thats the kind of thinking I am talking about on the tech side! now if we can do all of that and decrease the actual size and weight of the vf1000 motor we have another contestant for an engine:thumbsup:
