Well guys today we had freezing rain and tomorrow we are getting hit with a foot of snow and 50 mph winds. I think it is time to clean and polish the old girl.
And this brings up the subject of what is the best wax/polish to use on the fairing panels as well as the frame.

I feel for you guys. I could not live up north like that. You do have the mountains, beautiful scenery, parks and deep snow I would love to be in at least once in my life but I hate the cold. Even low 70's is "cool" to me when riding. It may be flat, dry and somewhat barren here in Texas but at least it's warm! (for the most part).

I use Mothers Reflections wax. Not impressed but last stuff I bought. I would be interested in something better as well.

However, for quick polish/clean-up, Bikes Spirit cleaner and polish is my A-number one goto. I love this stuff! (OH, works great on the black plastics)

I think the Bike Spirits cleaner/polish is same people who make the Honda original polish but cheaper and not paying for honda name.

I don't polish and wax the frame but for all the panels, I may use McGuires pre-wax cleaner then McGuires yellow wax after that. Their yellow was is a great and hard wax.

Trust me, the combination works amazingly well. The Pinnacle wax over top of the Klasse is mind blowing. Your paint, with the right prep and polishing, will look like you can dip your finger into it.

The link above sells all of this and has a lot of detailing how to videos, by industry professionals.

Watermark on the bike is from my photography side, not something yanked from the Internet.

I found my nuts! Or bolts....

    Back to OP topic,

If you're not into going through a multi step process, then I suggest getting a good all in one. This is polish and wax in one. The red bottle of Klasse above is just that, but there is no polish, it chemically cleans the paint, but it can't remove fine scratches, etc. It will remove oxidation, road tar, bugs etc. And it leaves your paint sealed. It works very well and coupled with the silver bottle, you won't need to reapply for another year. I've been using Klasse since around 1991 and it's never let me down. The Polish on top just gives it more depth.

This is a good AIO (ALL IN ONE). It's good for keeping your bike looking good, it won't have the same effect as all of the products in the post above, but it's good stuff. You could step it up a notch with this. I haven't used their AIO, but their premium wax, while expensive, is fantastic over the top of Klasse. http://www.autogeekmobile.net/wolfgang-uber-all-in-one.html
