the pants are Alpinestars full leather pants
and Nitra V boots

3 hours north of you. Its * Course * and your leathers have to either be one piece or full zip together two piece. The rest of your gear is fine.

i wanta put slicks on my bike for the track , what kinda slicks are good ? any body know ?
this should be a whole new thread ?

 

I would not worry about slicks till your riding in the A group

 

True, Brian ran his Dunlop Qualifiers and hung with me on my Mich. Pilot Race track tires. There certainly isnt anything wrong with "over tiring" but in this case you dont need to.

 

I think it might even be *course* :sorry: Or maybe I just missed something...........

As for Tyres, I race but like to run dunlop qualifiers on my VFR's, & Triumph ST, when visiting my old home track (since I may be riding there from Utah :wink: & back )for a track day or 2 @ Willow Springs.

This thanksgiving I'm doing a track day in Ontario the 11/23/Friday but will be signed up in the Novice class, due to I'll be teaching a few friends that day to better there body positions & lines.
If looking for me, I'll either be on my black KTM 625 SMC SuperMoto bike (race #911) or my Silver RC51(my Black helmet & leathers say's "TAZ" on them as well).

Hope to see some of you out there:biggrin: , I didn't do Willow because they only had expert class left available & is fine for me, but wouldn't be able to have my friends run, So Penske track (AMA race configuration) here I come.

 

Taz, whats the Penske track ? never heard of that.
