LOL, It's warming up over here Bubba, gonna be in the 40's this week.
Hey Bubba, I still pop in from time to time to have a look. Did a Ride skills course on the weekend with my wife. Just got her a 2009 Triumph Bonneville so good timing to refresh her/our skills. A really fun bike to ride. We have been getting a few 40 deg days down here in Oz as well except they are Celsius....
good to see you are still here! Sorry about Face Book being a cross over. I hate it and to much bullshit on it.
I still have a folder on my computer labeled Utah trip 2018. A trip that never happened, at least for me.
Kind of channeling my Cubs fan Grandma here. Maybe this year.
Still here, I hate facebook, wouldn't go near it, forum does me.
Still check in every once in a while to see the tumble weeds roll by. Can't wait for spring to get the beast out.
WEEEEEE its always riding weather here
I almost made the mistake of selling it last year to get an adventure bike. Glad I didn't do it. There's just something about the VFR that I can't describe. It's kinda like the one ring in Lord of the Rings. Here in the east, It'll be a little while before she hits the streets again.
Hmm... Should I prepare to block off August as well?
Rocky Mountain ATV is the best bet. You can even get to try out different sizes. Its a little bit farther away from you though. I prefer to buy my gear physically, so I dut drive/ride out there.
The VFR ticks all the boxes for we. It's going to be a long romance.
I'm still around...maybe more than I should be. The forums are still a good place to learn stuff or ask technical questions, or seek advice. Chat is still active during west coast America business hours with a few of our members from their work desks. LOL Chat is dead on weekends though, starting about 3PM Friday afternoon.
I did belong to a VFR group on Facebook a while back. I don't know if it is VFRW associated or not. I don't think it was. But I found I was just getting far to much notifications from them on FB that I left that group. Matter of fact, the few groups on FB that I have joined up with I had the same complaint and removed myself from just about all of them. I think I still belong to one or two FB group sites and that is it. Hell, I unfollowed several of my relatives on FB because I get tired of seeing posts of fudgie marshmallow deep dish chocolate and butterscotch pies topped with butterscotch chip peanut butter caramel infused ice-cream and pecans, Or over zealous parents with pictures of their kids every damned day.
OK. I have taken a pill and will settle down in a moment or two. If not, I will drink.
I hear ya! Go for the drink.
I'm still here, albeit I haven't been here all that long.
I'm with Randy on the facebook thing. I am part of the VFRW facebook group, but I turned off the notices for all facebook, deleted messenger, and only check facebook once every 10 days or so.
I like the VFRW forum here much more!
They could at least have a few shots from the grill. A nice rib eye steak is worth ogling.
Yes. But your choice is a good source of protein. The other is a good source of extreme high blood glucose readings. I'll take your choice any time. Medium rare topped with a generous quantity of fresh mushrooms sliced up and fried well along with fresh sautéed onions
Make mine medium well with mashed potatoes. I like those sugary things, especially chocolate. But have found I kind of like making an apple pie from Grandmas recipe. No shortage of sugar in that either.
I am STILL here. See pic of my sweet 2-stroke to help you cope with this F-ing Winter that won't F-ing end.
Yes it burns oil. Get off my back.
