How in the heck are you supposed to read them instruments? I bet they only come out at night. The sun would burn them to crisps in seconds.
We need more VFR hotties, though.

Gauges is just dare for da bling, yuuz don't read dem.... (well unless it's night and the kool neon glow from the gauges reflects nicely and highlights your arm tatoos and razor stubble face as your mullet flows gently in the breeze before you do a burn-out leaving the Walmart parking lot to head back to the K-mart parking lot and cruise with your friends back past the losers at the Target parking lot.)

Yer killin me. I guess it's hard to get past second gear on those 2 mile stretches of down town hickvilles. And all of the x-marts are always in the same block anyway. I wish there was a donut store here in this hickville like the one in Wayne's World. Then I would have some place to hang with the 2 other sport bike riders in this town.

Hey! Some sport bikes can't help they have some chrome on them! I saved the 97 from a squid in New Jersey and she has a little bling but all she wants is loved, even with her ugly bling:wink:

Where have I been? Oh yeah, living in the boonies, so I can tolerate the other humans when I have no choice but to interact with them... Now I remember why.

I had no idea that bikes like these existed. Has anyone figured out how to put those "wheel spinners" on one of them yet? Un-frikkin' believable. For one of the few times I can remember, I really am speechless and/or typeless. Gotta think about this one for a while...

I do like the paint on the busa with the chick. It's a very nicely done job. I don't know that I'd ever go that far with a paintjob on a sportbike, but whoever did it, did a good job.

we've got them in cleveland but not too many. i have more of a problem with the retards we have here on bike that are seven colors because they always drop them. these are the same idiots i see on the highways passing me doing about 80 on one wheel with no protection. however everyone thinks they need a 'busa or they aren't cool just like harley guys.

Not as bad as chrome....but....let me see a show of hands of how many of you taped a bunch of faux (plastic) carbon fiber onto your bike.

If you ride an Italian bike you probably doubled the price of the bike on carbon fiber bits.

    C'mon, raise your hands . . .

I won't lie, I have faux carbon fiber brake & clutch levers. I also have a REAL carbon fiber tree cover. The only reason I have CF on my bike is black & silver are the only two colors that go with yellow.

We put a pair on this bike although this photo doesn't show them. I'll have to see if I have a photo with them on at home. Actually of all the bikes we did I liked this one the most. This bike had a touch of "class" to it with the copper chrome frame and all. It's a shame it only had one brake disc up front though...shame!

Wait, I found one! This was an ad I created for the 'old shop.

Well, i cant stand much the stretch swingarm deal. It is just not functional. I do enjoy going to bike shows to see the paint jobs, because it is amazing what some people can do with an airbrush. I do have to say, sometimes I think a set of LED's (not overboard and tastefully placed) can make a bike look pretty cool. Just my opinion.

Up here in Providence, Rhode Island there arent too too many of these morons, but if you want to find them, go ride down thayer street in the summer time. They all convene there. I ride down the street about once a year and they glare at you wondering why on earth you dont have the bike dropped and kitted like them. Problem is, as few of them as there are, there are even fewer cool and legit riders, at least that I have met. It is hard to rally up a posse up north!

We really do get a bad name from those morons though. I just got my bike out of the impound yesterday. Got pulled over and didnt know my reg was up, honest mistake, I will take my lumps, but reason for being pulled over? "You looked like you leaned over too far on the exit ramp" translation "You were wearing full racing leathers and I figured, gee, someone dressed like that MUST need a ticket."
$140 to get my bike back. I had it registered the next day, was 2 miles from my house when i got bagged. Dude wouldnt even just let me ride home. As far as I know, I got pulled over for owning a sport bike, plain and simple. And why do people get yanked for that? Because of these retards zipping all over acting the fool and giving everyone a bad name......

Stetched / chromed gixxers make 0 sense. Sports bikes are for passing, not posing.

The highlighted above is why there will always be people that say cops suck. Any of the LEO's on the forum care to try to explain why cops see fit to do such nonsense? I know for sure if I ever receive a ticket with an explanation like that, I won't just fight the ticket in traffic court, I will sue the issuing PD.
