Really, a blown shock will do that? How do I check if it's blown? Oh, wait it that what all the black stuff is all over the spring thingy?

I've smashed up a few shocks up on pretty much everything on wheels including a pogo stick. The shocks are fine. However it might be the fact that I put helium in the front tire.

I forgot about the shocks helping that out as well. Front forks are too stiff and rear may be set soft. See what you can do to toughen it up. I know some people at the 1/4 mile used a tie down strap to keep their bike from getting air. COmpress the front shock as much as they could.

Something happened! I can't wheelie anymore. I tried 3 times and it just won't do it. What happened? I don't understand??? I did the same thing I did before and nothing. It must have been beginners luck. Seriously, the front end was coming up without trying on my 1st and 2nd ride. Must be like blowin your wad on a first date or something. Then it's all down hill form there. I guess I need to find those 2 toothless, jean jacket wearing chicks that wanted to race in order for me to get it up again.

No joke, when I first got the bike it wheelied on me a couple time. Now that I'm trying I can do it. when I say trying I mean just cracking the throttle wide open after a smooth start. I don't try to make my road bikes do something they where not meant to do. That's what dirt bikes are for.

And that's a problem? I had a 5 gen and my favorite thing was to wheelie it on power! I have a lame ass 2nd gen now with zippo power. No wheelie on power now..... So I would say you have no problem this is normal.

I believe a stock 86-87 VFR700 will wheelie. Maybe a little coaxing is involved but that's it.

Hey Jamie, I need to talk to about the F2 rear wheel kit, I had to make some modifications to get it to work, just want to share them with you.

My 5th gen will pull a wheelie in first & second & once did it in third during some hard acceleration on a bumpy road ! Gearing was 16/43 at the time.
