Highway star, I like those and if I had silver rims I would be good. Thanks

The last resort is Magic Markers or confiscating your SO's nail polish. ;)

Sometimes bikes come off the assembly lines just fine. Sometimes not. Sounds like your Kawi was a good one. I have two bikes that are late 1970s.

I do think that you are right. Honda really was the most reliable brand back then. I bought that 550 for $600.00 back in 93' it had a loving 7,000 miles. The guys wife made him sell it like most bikes. If you get married and then a kid comes around most females go into "Protect the cub or pack mode"!;-)

Well it is done. What do you all think about adding $9.99 and free shipping and bling to the IMO awkward looking bronze wheels. I love the style just not the mat color on the wheels. It needed something for me. After getting the bike back with new rubber and the exhaust that you all know that I am having a great time with. This was the only thing that I needed to add to "Jeni"! I can wrench with the right tools and space but the only add I would have in the coming months is a power commander or look into lowered foot pegs. Let me know what you think. A before shot with the new can and rubber and an after shot of the almost color matched and reflexive wheel decals. I only need some black tank huggers that look and feel great.

I'm not a pinstripe kind of guy, but those look pretty good Bubba! Are your wheels the stock bronze? In the picture, it might just be the exposure, the red really stands out (pops) when the wheels look darker...

duccmann and highway star, does that decal maker make those in "HRC" (as opposed to "HONDA VFR")? My 87 had white CBR F2 wheels and I put these mini RWB HRC stickers on them, looked pretty good (to me at least haha)...

They are stock bronze and I do agree with you about the picture because the wheels look black. Not matter the sites for decals they are almost always on black wheels. I am kinda good with this, but know it is not my end result. But for $10 buck I gave it a shot.

I guess in my quest about a cheap and decent looking add to the bike that pops a little where it lacks this will work for now. I will have them on until they look like shit or fall off. I am really getting annoyed with the rim color as a whole. I know that some day I will have to look into powder coating the wheels. The bike only has three parts that have the accent color of bronze (Clipons, engine case and the wheels) but 80% of the bike is red, black and silver. I am at odds now with so much red, little black and silver. I will look at tank grips to cut the overwhelmingly solid red color on the body. Possibly some black decals being made for the lower cowl. I am glad it is not a gaudy tri color, but it needs just something to cut the color here and there IMO.
