What's Your Bike Mileage

You've seen it before on Craigslist. VFR for Sale. "These motors last forever!" Most I see for sale are under 30K. Highest I've seen is 70K. But really, what's your's so I can brag about it with numbers to back it up?

 

Um, only 11500 on my 02 but in my defense I bought it in Aug with 6500 on it.

 

I'm at over 37,500 miles.

 

I bought my 2003 about 2 months ago with 18,400 miles. Oil change, tires, coolant, air filter, chain and sprockets... now just shy of the 20,000 mark.

 

An 06 with over 87,000 km (circa 54,000 miles) and running strong as ever.

 

Sorry guys only 3800 kM's so far, but it is only a 2009 model.:defense:

I bought it three days ago, and had to work two of those days. Can't wait to add a couple zeros to that number!

I'm at almost 5 years and 34,000 miles with my 05 and plan to run her well over 100k. I'm in no rush to replace her, at least not until Honda comes to it's senses with the Gen 8VFR and I've saved up the money to pay cash down...

 

31500 miles, 98VFR, 7000 this year so far.

4900 on my 07 RWB I bought in May 2008 with 5 miles on it. Usually average about 10k miles a year. Work sucks!

I am at 38000,

 

the ticker on mine sported 65,000 miles and since I swapped gauges its had another 2000 put on it.......

Oh yeah its an 86 VFR700....it was also stationary for at least 5 years........ still runs no smoke and she will keep up with the others..

 

my 500 got 20,000's on it i've had it almost three years purchased it with 14,000

 

38,300 km on my 99. Bought it used in May with 34,000 on it. Not bad for a wet, cool summer!
My Black 98 had 46,000 km on it before the frame was broken in a rear end collision.

 

Got just under 100 miles till I hit 50K on my 2002 VFR. Absolutly NO problems. This bike should have a LOT more miles on it but I've riden much less over the past couple of years due to grad school. I've had 1 valve check at around 32000 miles and all valves except 1 were within spec.

40,600 mi. on my '04 and still going strong.

 

22k on my 04. Bought it in June with 15k and only had a stuck thermostat...which can happen to any vehicle at any time. Motor is strong as ever.

 

38K and she's running as strong as ever.
