What kind of tires are you riding on?

    just fitted metzeler sportec m5 interacts to 2010 vfr 800 vtech.brillant in the dry,even better in the wet,like racing wets.i,m in nottingham england,it rains a hella of a lot.

    Hey Dead smiley, what track org are you running with?

    I know NESBA won't let a bike pass tech if you have worn the tires down to the wear bars. Sometimes even less wear than that.

    Just a thought. Also don't forget to run lower pressures on the tires. Set the pressures in the morning. 30 to 32 psi cold.

    I am riding with Sportbike Track Time. The tires aren't worn to the wear bars. There is plenty of tread left.

    When I rode the CBR I usually set the pressures are 30 psi. I was planning on doing the same thing with the VFR, then I got to thinking about the extra 100 pounds of VFR. I guess it won't really matter much. I will set both front and rear at 30 and see how it goes.
