Hein Gericke Timbuktu, Icon Contra, or a some random brand leather jacket.
Which one depends what the weather's like, where I'm going, and how fast I'm going.

Well, I had the TIMAX 2 from Icon, and it was awesome and saved me a lot of pain and suffering when I went off the side of the mountain... BUT, they stop making it, and I couldn't get one my size... So, I now have a Hooligan 2 from Icon, and I must say, while it doesn't feel a rugged, it's cause it's so much lighter! They say it's their airiest jacket, and I believe it. Also very light for an armored riding jacket. I like it, on the one ride I've had so far...

Jacket: Olympia AST Hi-Viz - Great all-around jacket for touring, very well made and thought out. Plenty of pockets and great ventilation. Very good in the rain. Good in all weather conditions except when it's really hot outside and you're driving at low speed (like in the city). On really hot days when I drive in the city I will wear a PowerTrip Diablo jacket.

Pants: Teknic Tactic - I can't believe they've stopped making these pants, they're great! Good in practically every temperature; just unzip to get a little air or take the bottom covers off for more air. They're very good summer riding pants. The only problem I find with them is that the knee protection is a little too high and that they're not even close to beeing waterproof (when all zips are closed)... but it's much better than beeing a squid during the summer months!

Some cheap MP-Asu. Well, it's warm, waterproof and offers some protection if I crash my bike.
