none. I'd keep every bike I ever had if I had somewhere to put them, and take a whole lot more bikes besides...

I miss my 1989 baby fizzer (FZR600). The old girl was my first "street" bike, and she scared me at how fast she was. Used to loft the front tire in second gear all by herself. I rebuilt her up after I purchased her from my brother's friend who tossed her thru a field out running a cop. Put new plastics, forks, headlights, and other stuff to nurse her back to health. Seat was hard as a rock....ouch.

1987 papa fizzer (FZR1000). Just parted with her last october after a 10 year relationship. She was a ROCK solid bike at speed, and had loads of torque. I love me 98 viffer, however, the old fizzer will always have a place deep in my heart. Been through a lot with that old girl, a lot.... sniff, sniff, give me a second...:frown: :pout:

The bike I never want to see is the 500 kawasaki h1 . I learned to ride on a rated out 73 when it would run it had no power ex between 5000 and 7000 and then it had too much The shocks where soft and one day the front fork stoped leaking .Now I realize it was because it went empty. I thought it fixed itself. I was 16 . I dont know how I made 17. O ya ,I could not get it started

My favorite would be my 2001 red VFR800Fi Gear Drive. Great bike.

Oh I'm gonna catch hell for this but it appears that only one was actually getting ridden eh.

Which reminds me of a picture I saw of a fellas trailer being towed down the road and on the back in big lettering it said, "If my wife let me ride her as much as I ride my bike, I would be at home right now".:bowl:

Somedays I think about my first bike, a 1980 Kawasaki 440. It was in great condition and I had many 1st's on that bike. I also had it when I went through my divorce (I married young and it all went down in flames) and rode all the time in Maryland and D.C. All that riding kept my mind on...well not on her LOL! And its when motorcycling really got into my blood.

When I see a 440, it always brings back memories and a smile:)!

Now my wish list in different!

    1. 1978 Kawasaki z1000 done up Mad Max style
    2. Any of the classic 2-strokes. I have never rode a 2-stroke and my "older" friends said I'd love one.
    3. MV Agusta F4
    4. ANY MOTORCYCLE THAT RUNS LOL!

1986 Yamaha Fazer-fun bike, really cool design
    1986 GSXR 750-really fun bike
1987 Yamaha TZ 250-GP race bike, two stroke fun, brakes will put you through the windscreen.

1985 Kawasaki GPz 750 Turbo-turbo boost is very fun
    [IMG]

I'm amazed that the Ninja made your "turd" list. I used to have a friend with one and it worked really well for him and he rode the shite out of it. I was faster than my spanking new 1990 VFR. I always seemed to catch him after we hit 100mph and up. I had a 93 Saber with the Honda fairings and bags all in black and it worked pretty nice for 83. It was no beauty queen, that was reserved for the CBX.

Well now you got me thinking.

    Ones I want back.
    1. 1973 Yamaha RD350. Went like stink handled pretty well for the time and up to 80mph could kill anything but a Honda 750 and it gave those a run for its money. Had to rebuild it every other month but it only took a morning to do it and a bitch to keep in tune but it was so much fun to ride.
    2. 1973 Suzuki TS400. Rode 12K miles in two months on back roads all over North America. Had a blast but Oh man the brakes were bad.

Ones I never want to see again.
    1. 1969 Yamaha TX 650. The handling was so bad in nearly killed me several times, happy if I never see one again.

The many others I don't really care about, they all gave good experiences but nothing really special.

My first streetbike was a cx500 custom that would chug along all day pinned in 5th. Somewhere, not too far above 85 we went everywhere from my 14 to 16 year birthdays. The camaro and the tiny little seat in the back was the beginning of the end of my interest for a while. The only regrettable one. Not unlike earlier posters, I've wanted one back enough to replace a few. I'm getting a 4th gen ready now, and I'll get another ST1100 and Goldwing when the right deal comes along, and my wife isn't looking. :congratulatory:

Love it but you can have my damn hair if I can have my old eye sight back! Getting pretty sick of having two sets of glasses with me all the time.

    Two come to mind.

A Sportster that now I would part out and make my money back in spades.

A garage find of a black 1953 Triumph Tbird that had been carefully stored. There were only (according to Triumph) 200 made with black paint. The bike was bone stock, complete with tank package rack, a pedestrian slicer and a set of cowhide saddlebags made in UK. I'd sell it and buy an MV Agusta.

Mine would be a H2 Kawi. That 3 piston 2 stroker was insane. Handled like shit and could hardly stop. But the motor was intoxicating. I would change the swing arm, forks, shock and put some Brembo's on it. Pair of chambers and have a blast. Its nick name was the Widow Maker.
