Here we go again fat people!!!! (see rant 111)

Here we are at another beginning of another year and guess what.... Yes fat people still piss me off. Again Im not talking about the functioning overweight people (Gabourey Sidibe rant of her critics on twitter was hilarious). Again Im talking about the fat effers that are basically oxygen theifs.

Start of a whole new year and you know what that means. Yes time for fatty McFatfat to go to the gym. We have a gym in our building. Most of the year its only usually 5 of us in a 1000+ person building that goes to the gym at lunch. These last two weeks there was about 20-30 people at the gym....and the numbers keep diminishing. And the thing that gets my goat... The fat effers are occupying all the exercise equipment. Nope not working out per-say but occupying. There are the three that think the damn bench press bench is a good place to catch a nap. Ive even seen them lying on their backs on their smart phones on the benches. They could be on Facebook or Tweeting "status update...at gym getting monsterly ripped for the new year". Problem is the only thing they benched was the phone.... And don't get me started on the "walkers" on the treadmills. Ive seen crawling toddlers walk faster than these effers. I bet if there was a McDouble with extra cheese and grease a block away they would walk fast to get it. Now if these people decide to stick with going to the gym over the next few weeks they will get my respect. I just don't see it happening.

Maybe I should see about going to Globo Gym....but I heard they got bought out....

The only thing worse than not being able to use a piece of gym equipment, is watching the idiot who is occupying said machine use it wrong...

The gym I go to has the annual "running of the bulls" also, however this year has also brought some new, more visually pleasing "talent" that think yoga pants are everyday attire (not complaining about that at all).

I had a couple guys from Fiji who worked for me before I retired. One of them told me about an incident whereby someone got his goat and he chased him with a machete and got it back. That turned into a great Currie goat stew.

I agree with everything you said in that post except this one point. There is very often a medical reason why they may be going that slow. And if they pay to use it, and do not abuse their time on the tread mills, then who are we to say they do not belong there.

The only fat people who really annoy me is that fat fucker I see in the mirror every morning. But, he is trying to change that as we speak.

Or they shop for advice from several people on the same subject.......bastards. If you don't appreciate my advise, don't ask and go seek expertise from Angipedia or something.

Distracting animated ads on web sites!

Was trolling this AM, looked at BMW K1600 Forum, same setup (Template) as ours, but obnoxious ads in between every 5th post.

We have a great Forum, no ads please. BTW, it seems the Beemers break a lot more often than our reliable VFR's!

I dislike how sometimes I come up with a creative and new hilarious comment that gets barely a chuckle. But then some guy will make some lame joke, e.g. Yo momma, big dick joke, and it gets a ton of laughs.

There must be a site somewhere that focuses on other than big dicks. It won't be here or a harleydood forum.

I spent a lot of time in the BMW camp. They have a reputation for reliability that was deserved back in the /2 days when their main competition was the Panhead Harley. Now days not so much. As the complexity of their products have increased so have their reliability issues. You pay a premium for a BMW and the maintenance chores are expensive. I'll take my VFR any day, pocket the difference in cost and have just as much (or more) fun. My 5th Gen is the best bike I have ever owned.

I used to stop in the local BMW shop on my walks, they have low mileage K1300 with factory and after market farkles for $17K, I was temped till I found my VFR for $4k! That's a lot of farkles for $13K, plus tax

What gets my goat. If I hear or read one more question about where to buy an aftermarket (insert stupid part here) for my 95 VFR? When, in fact, the part is totally universal and can be made to fit anything.

Example, I'm looking for a super GP exhaust can in titanium for my 97. Can't seem to find a vendor that sells one. Well, go buy the can. and get a connector pipe either made by the muffler shop, or from Staintune, to name one, that will slip fit your bike. Marry them, and, voila, there you go.

So far, I have put 2000 R1 forks and brakes, Hayabusa clutch and front brake master cylinders, 2000 R1 Reg/rec, CBR600 and Aprilia RS exhaust cans, and mid 80's BMW hard bags on my 93 VFR, with ease I might add. And I basically made my driver seat, without a passenger section. The voltage meter is from a Honda boat, simple wired in and looks factory. Mirrors are from a Blackbird with delrin adapters to fit my windshield.

Folks, sometimes the EXACT part does not exist, especially as our bikes get older, or never were made for our bikes. Get a little inventive and you can get all kinds of stuff for any bike. They are basically plug and play for most outboard stuff.

    Larry

When you order a part or item on line and it says 2 day shipping and the item is in stock, but they take 5 days to process your order! I ordered on a Sunday night, got immediate confirmation that my order was received, then on Monday I another email saying that payment was received and your order is being processed...Friday comes along and low and behold, my order has finally been processed and item is going to ship!

Yep, behind the wiz-bang facade of the Internet lies the same tired businesses run by the same tired people. The Internet changed nothing, only the lack of a stamp in the mail order process.

But if ya don't get specific parts for the bike ya don't get any stickers to let everyone know that all the farkles on the bike are name brand and blessed by the Gods.

I like stickers. They make your bike go faster. Bullydog (Truck computers) has a really neat one that is 3 dimensional and made out of stamped aluminum. All my stickers go on my "Motorcycle Crap" cupboard and my son's guitar case. Hell, he even has Chiquita Bananas stickers on that case.
