So, anyway...what did I do today? I spent all day (and the previous two days) out in the middle of Montana, 70 feet underground, controlling nuclear weapons. I miss my VFR. Oh, and the best part...when I get back home, it'll be snowing :smow:

In case anyone didn't know, you can leave a comment to any photo in any member's gallery. I deleted his insulting & offending comments since the owner of the photo gallery can delete any comments left on thier photos. I did so because it irritated me to see this crap everytime I perused my own photo gallery.

Anyway, let's just put it this way, I was going to say Squirrel stopped short of calling me a "Baby Killer" in his rude comments to my pics. I WAS (past tense) going to type that but looky here, he comes right out & claims I've killed innocent civilians in the performance of my duty to my country. Naturally, since aircraft support equipment mechanics (my old career field which is referred to as AGE Mechanic in the USAF) are quite well known for their war atrocities. Not to mention the quite well known & highly documented history the KC-10 has as an air to ground weapons delivery platform. ) I rest my case.

I did delete the reply which I fully admit was fueled by rage. I WILL NOT apologize but the post is deleted.

34468RANDY, I respectfully request that you remove my quote from your post (just hit edit & delete it) to completely remove it. Thanks.

Indeed, with the exception of a few micro-brews, this is absolutely correct.

Thanks for your help KC. His comment was over the line.

BTW....anybody like Sam Adams beer??? It probably is my favorite mass-produced beer. I prefer some local IPAs/MicroBrews over it, but in comparing it to buttwiper, miller, coors, etc...no comparision IMO.

Sam Adams is good. I like Leinenkugel's Honey Weiss a lot. Bass Pale Ale is probably my favorite "after-work" beer.

I have tired either of those PuC....I will have to try them out. I have heard of Bass, just not the other Honey Weiss. We have a local brewery called "Ballast Point" here in SD, and their beer "Yellowtail Ale" is probably my favorite beer here in the US so far.

I picked this stuff up on my last trip thru Utah just for kicks....gf thought it was funny and my boss liked it...

I had the pleasure of being in Japan a number of years ago and thouroughly enjoyed Sapporo Draught. Now that is a nice beer in my mind. Today after guarding the Board of Directors and my CEO, it was home time and a nice cold Heineken. The Sapporo is just a bit harder to find here. Tried a few British beers. They were real nice too but make me suffer from Anus Methanus Eruptus. I like my beer a bit on the bitter side, thus the Fosters. Actually the Fosters reminded me of my home town beer Drewreys Standard which had the almost identical lable as Bud. We had an injunction against Bud at one time here.. But that's another thread and for another day. Bed time

Hey Elf, after this, the first coherent post you've made (no offense intended, I swear), you are now OFF my ignore list. Somehow I knew you could type the language correctly if you wanted to. Funny thing is, someone else just made it onto my "ignore" list. Anyone care to guess who?

To combat this situation, the voices in my head have called for the assistance of Jack Daniels. Who am I to disagree with the voices? I also have a dwindling supply of: Franzikaner Hefe Weizen Dunkel, Erdinger Hefe Weizen & Czech Budvar. I need to go TDY to Germany, my beer is running out.

I know I said I was going to bed but... Isn't it amazing the profound effect the word "beer" has?

Why do I feel I've done something wrong? I start a post about meeting the most powerful person on Planet Earth & now we're all discussing beer. Where did I go wrong.

No matter what anyone says, it was a priviledge to meet the POTUS. I've also met Bill Clinton in 1996 at Aviano AB, It. Think of how many people in this world that would be executed for even TALKING negatively about the leader of thier country. I only had the oppurtunity to shake his hand for 2 seconds & speak a single sentence to the POTUS & I quote myself, "Mr President, it is indeed an honor to meet you." He replied simply, "How you doing sergeant?" That was that. The very un-happy looking gentleman in the photo with the microphone in his ear prevented any further chit-chat. Some got to engage in minor conversation but that's all I got.

Make NO MISTAKE. You did nothing wrong here. (other than a couple words now rectified). You should be justifiably proud that you spoke a few words with you President. Whether you like him or not makes no difference. My mother years ago had a personal audience with Queen Elizabeth. I in 1983 had the opportunity to speak a couple words to Prince Phillip while on Royal Security Duties during their trip to Victoria BC. So those who have not experienced such an opportunity, may not understand. So what. Cherish the moment. I highly doubt that you will forget it. Don't cloud it

Squirrilman....does everything have to be political? Want to be a part of the solution and not the problem?? Save your your crazy, blowharding political drivel for another website. You are screwing up the cool vibe this website exudes (not to mention lowering troop morale).
