Rode 250 km through the rapidly drying up country side.
Then did an oil change on my riding mates old R80 BMW.

Got the heated grip things from ebay... the cheap $3 ones that go on top the grips. For that investment I will try them.

Yes indeed. Nothing that lasts as long as PRs has any right to grip like they do, especially in the wet (default setting for UK in December!).

Last Saturday I replaced the right front turn signal lens and housing. During my return ride from Barber it just fell off at some point due to a fall by the PO. Like an idiot I removed the right fairing so I could get behind it and once I had it out noticed that the design allowed for its removal and replacement without dissembling the fairing. Using this knowledge I reset the other light that had been knocked askew by a fall perpetrated by myself.

Took off rear shock for a rebuild, linkage bushes stripped out for checking and a re-grease as ride was a bit harsh and no spare cash for an aftermarket shock. So a rebuild it is!!!. Also put some heated grips on as i like to ride on those cold but clear winter days. Hopefully my bike dosent become one of those "garage queens" Have a great Christmas holiday all.:snowman::snowman:

^have one of those "garage-queens" it used to be battle scared and a daily commuter. Now its clean as a whistle and gets a yearly synthentic oil change. It actcually is a "lift-queen" as it sits on my air work table when I am not turning a spanner.

Wish they used zerk fittings on hondas like the old Kawasakis did. Makes too much sense and cost a little money, so lets not give it to the customer. :loco:

My 93 will get its 2000 mile synthetic oil change this week :mech: Nice pictures Pauperman, thanks for sharing. Cheers Would never tar-n-feather anyone, just buy and read the goddamn book! All the answers can be found there more than likely.

I put my saddle back on after fetching it from the shipper. Looks stock, but has had foam replaced with Supracor by Spencer at greatdaytoride.com. I am really hoping it transforms the stock saddle into all day comfortable. The same treatment did so for my Bonneville saddle, so I'm optimistic that it will be a hundred bucks well spent.

I don't think the stock VFR saddle is as bad as some sport bikes, just that it could be better for long hauls and I noticed I started to squirm and feel pressure points after a couple of hours.

Had him do my EX500 seat, very nice!

I spoke to him regarding a seat cover for my VFR, he told me to deal with Seargent Seats, very happy with the seat cover they stiched up, custom chit is far-out. $25.00 to staple it to the seat pan and it looks "titz." Cheers

Not sure if this comment refers to price, seat height, or your avatar's grooming style.

I wasn't trying to get my feet flatter at stops, just wanted touring comfort.
