Way busy, finally got around to adding this stuff. Cortech Tank and Saddle bags. Akrapovic Slip on, Way fun! Sounds Awesome! Tank gripes have been on there for a few weeks, but it has been hot as hell here lately and while on the way home noticed some movement. not sure if those will be staying. Prob help if they were a solid piece... Also installed a ram mount for my iPhone, and MRA X-creen sport visor to the top of the shield. I'm a tall rider and the wind beats the hell out of me most of the time, so I thought I would give this a shot. Anyone else out there have one of these installed. Reviews etc? image1.jpg image2.jpg image3.jpg image5.jpg image7.jpg image8.jpg image9.jpg

I installed one last fall and imo it works great it reduces rain wind and bugs from hitting my visor but it does increase buffeting some but with ear buds its not a problem. For city riding I lower it and change the pitch and it blows more air towards me which helps to keep me cool

Thanks, I figure I will have to play with the pitch of the foil to determine the aerodynamics and the best wind flow. Weather here has been crap so haven't been riding this weekend.

I am a big believer in magnetic drain plugs. They are just one more line of protection and they can be a warning of serious problems before they occur.

Today, I got a SJ4000 GoPro knock-off camera in the mail. Bought it on eBay for $30, with shipping. It was shipped from China, but only took 9-days to get to me in Kansas (USA). Picture quality is not perfect, but I bought this to supplement my GoPro...use on different locations of the bike while using the GoPro on helmet. Here is a short video: CLICK HERE

The Outlaw is only $7.95 with free shipping!, The Dimple is $34.95 which seems exorbitant for a drain plug! Magnets aren't that different.

Just ordered one for the VF.

Making final checks and tests to tank and fuel pump in preparation for re-installing carbs as soon as a new set of oversize jets and needle shims arrives. Used my brake bleeding vacuum pump to check fuel flow and cleanliness of gas. Installed new o-ring gaskets on bowls to fix leaks. Replaced phillips screws with allen cap screws for better torque and ease of servicing. Cleaned my K&N filter and air box. Everything is ready to go.

Sounds great, your the original owner? That was my first bike for the street, did everything great.... $5000 brand new at Kolbe Honda which is no more....sad because when the trail 50 came out thats where Dad bought my second bike after riding a Rup mini bike. Did close to 200,000 miles before 2nd gear was gone....

Second owner of this particular bike, bought my first 83 in Toronto, had it air freighted to LA for my job at the Olympics, then moved to CA afterwards. Crashed it in 85, in the process of fixing it up, I found a dealer who did the cam upgrade, installed the tensioners wrong and there were pieces of steel in the sump from grinding off the bottoms of the arms. I bought another from a friend and transferred all aftermarket parts to it. Now she is a real mongrel with the 85 paint scheme.
