The sound is incredible. Like a Corvette with a hot cam at idle, and a MotoGP bike when it's revved up. The VTEC transition sounds awesome :D

I rode with four other guys from the Ducati dealer. Nice spirited ride. I LOVE the shimmed rear shock along with the front being raised in the triples. Today was the first day that i got to really push it and Man what a difference!

I wish i had done this long ago.

I will cover a few days of stuff. First, On Thursday I was stupid enough to let my 20yr old friend give me bike a ride around the neighborhood, who end up driving it like it was going out of style over rough roads. I was not too happy about that, especially with him going well about the speed limit in a neighborhood with kids as well as him going so fast over said bumps that I could hear the fairings rattle and the rear shock bottoming out from way down the block. That will be the last time I ever let anyone ride my bikes, no matter who they are. Saturday I planned a ride with 4 other folks, the first thing one of them does when trying to turn around in the drive way was drop their brand new, purchased less than 18hours ago, 23 mile, 2014 Yamaha Bolt. They were okay, bent shift lever and scratches on the mirror. It would be the only one to take a rest; when we got back from 180 miles, the VFR decided the driveway looked like comfy place to rest due to its owner forgetting to put the kickstand down. The newish mirror that was there got scratched up, the fender got scuffed up and the upper, rear fairing bolt broke though the fairing. D'oh. Looks like I will have some work to do....

On the upside, I was able to get enough cash together from working a bunch to order one of Jamie's rear shocks. I put the other form in today and should be getting one in less than a month! Woot!

Not much on the bikes but I had some "caution" stickers made up which are like the ones Freddie Spencer had on his early 80's race bike.
Made them in metric for Aussie conditions. The 280 km/hr ones are for the black scooter, the slower ones for the 1000R's, CB900's, and VFR750. Might have to put one of the 280 ones on the mighty CT110 Hyper Sport.

Then continued on. Carbs are off and I may be taking a member up on the offer to dial them in.

Rode 400 miles. Baltimore to Lucketts, VA. Then to Sommerset, PA. Then home to Western New York. My but hurts. A 25 year old seat is very un comfortable after 45 miles.
The fule light comes on at 150 miles... 3.3 gallons.

Cool. I love Jennings. I have seen a few VFR's there. I have not tracked mine there, only my Cbr 1000 track bike. I think this is Gary's (south florida sport bike) and Nick V's event. Get with Nick. He is an excellent coach.
