It does suck, but I did have my old GIVI touring screen and the mirror off of my 5 Gen that I was able to use in the meantime. Just need to get the adjuster to take a peek at it and get the process rolling.

On the up side, glad you were not on the bike when it was hit.

    Still, I'm sorry it happened.

    UPDATE

Rode it through the city on the way home with ambient air temps around 30-31*C ... it seems to be cooling much better / faster now. The gauge never made it above 102*C so I think I got it licked.

Still contemplating an extra fan on the right hand radiator.

I found a "chinese" top case on Craigslist. Even had the key and base plate and hardware for $18 bucks. So I spent few hours this morning fabbing up a rack for it.

    Motofotos!

Been a while since a session!

After hosting New Jersey friends over night, playtime, treating their motos to QT drinks, and escorting them out of town...

Moto and I had some fun on his new shoes then stopped for photos:

    Pretty much...

Taking photos of my moto on public land by Air Force base.

They said they couldn't tell me I was breaking the law, but people don't like it when they see someone parked here and they call us.

Personally, as a taxpaying U.S. citizen, I should be able to stand at the fence of any base and take some photos. If things are top secret, then it shouldn't be in view from a fence line.

Heck, I go to the airshows out there all the time and take photos. But better not enjoy a quiet outing alone. Suspcious!

Best leave the burqa behind next time...

I love listening to Pink Floyd's Pulse live album while riding. Such great lyrics.

Just finished installing a quick shifter and replaced my heated grips with new ones.
The quick shifter was simple. The heated grips not so simple, very time intensive

I didn't do anything today, but yesterday I had a blast bending the bike into the turns of Grime's Canyon here in Moorpark. Such a fun road to catch when it's empty! Tried to get it on GoPro, but I failed miserably. I have it figured out now tho, so next time...

I take it back, I did do something to my bike today. Two things actually, derrrrrrr

I fixed the seat latch, as the latch mounting bolt loosened up and I couldn't get my seat off. I posted about it in my thread, but basically took the seat cowl off, used a screwdriver to push the seat release cable and removed my seat. The offending bolt is now Locktited in place and tightened nicely. A little silicone spray on the cable too.

Also, my steering head has been cluncking when I pulled to a stop. Grabbed my breaker bar and realised the top nut was loose. Tightened that down too. I de-clunked my junk. So, yeah, I did do stuff and even posted about it the same day too!
Oddly enough, when I fully turn my handlebars to the left, it squeaks. I have another mystery... But, I have another set of head bearings if I need them.

A.M I went to the Cyclegear website and this was not offered. How did you get this? For $179 bucks for both tires I would like to chance a buy and review.
