Awe not so bad today, here it was 46 and sunny. So I pushed the vfr out. Hmm battery told me man get a tender on it. It fired off ok just a tad slower than the norm, then noticed the fuel gauge now is blinking, thought how interesting it was on bar 3 a couple weeks ago. Proceeded to clean it up a bit and took some photos.

It was sunny and 48 here today... sounds just like your weather.

I'm wondering though, is there something you need to tell us? That's quite a bit of missing fuel...

    And photos? Yes please!

That fuel thing happens sometimes. Is why you should have a log for miles in/out of the garage on a clipboard hidden near the bike. Family members can be sneaky, or more likely a case of the late-night sleep-riding that we've all heard about.

    Took my moto out today.
    Something was very different.

I'm not sure if it was the cold 48°F air temp, adjusted throttle, naked moto, stock seat that's about only pan left with my spine jabbing into it, or just being lightweight.

But boy oh boy, was moto angsty, pulling hard, and sounding like my stock exhaust was on steroids!

    Very feisty and spirited ride.
I was dealing with an additional 50 hp...at least!

Sounds like you were able to unleash all that factory power of your 6 Gen! You should start your own thread about it!

All joking aside, something hinky was definitely happening today with moto.
I seriously had to be careful not to power wheelie.

That wax and polish may be it! I'm wondering though if it was just the Germans.

Colder weather will produce more power ... the cold air is denser. Nothing new here.

Today, I put some fuel stabilizer in my baby and ran her up a bit. Checked and topped all the fluids as well. Next weekend, I'm pulling both wheels off, removing the tires, doing a little repair / touch up on the wheels and then dropping them off for powder coat. I'm excited to finally get this done. Not so excited about having to put the bike away for the winter.

Last weekend, I moved my VF1000F and parts to my parents back garage in preparation for selling the house. Glad I did it then because the snow finally hit here, and it's going to hit even harder starting tomorrow.

... thank god I bought another sled this year ...

    BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!!!!

Can't wait to fire up that 680 Triple ... love the sound they make!!!

Haha, I know what the hinkies are.

But with the 898 posts of Unleashing and funny...the 89 here...it's hard not to keep rolling with it.

Took the wheels off, removed discs, bearings, and old(2007) tires, and dropped them off at the powdercoater.
    No more black wheels:)

Probably the cool air, less weight and not having the parachute effect from the luggage.

    Aww shux, Duckie.

I like to think he was feeling a bit feisty with me riding him. He was definitely game on...

I've always been a free, passionate spirit and always will be.
And I'll always give you guys female hassle. All in good fun.

I'm the lucky one to have amazing friends here and learn from you all. ❤ It's also great to know that some of you are looking out for wild, stubborn me here in Kansas and everywhere I roam alone when I shouldn't be.

Sooo...I estimate I will experience 80hp more than usual when riding to work on the coldest day this week: 25°F. We'll see. I'll post up if I do.
