West Central New Jersey (Route 78 Corridor)

I'm an active VFR rider in Western NJ ( 08827 ) Looking for fellow VFRs to ride with. I have a good group of riding friends here, looking to expand. I have created a facebook group who's focus is Group riding in this area. So far it's off to a small start, but it is growing. About 20 members as of April, 2011. If anyone out there is interested in becoming part of that, or for more information, PM me or ask in this thread.

 

I'm in 08822, always looking for people to ride with. Had to sell my interceptor to pay for school </3 but now I found a 92 cbr for stupid cheap that I fixed and now ride.

How about this Saturday? I know its going to be hard for most with it being Easter Weekend but if the weather is decent it would be nice, it will be my first ride of the season.

 

I may try for Sunday afternoon. Just a quick loop.

 

I may be down for an afternoon ride Sunday. My schedule is unknown yet, I'm typically done by 12:00-1:00pm but it could be as late as 3. I'm a caddie so it's up to the golfers skill how fast I finish. The weather looks questionable at this point. Couple of friends of mine are interested as well. I'll check back here to see what's going on. Any interest in the FaceBook Group I've mentioned above poconovfr?

 

PGA - Don't expect much from our friend Pocono. Granted, he can ride the tires right off the rims, but subtle and timely responses are not his strong suit, lol. You'll see what I mean someday.

Is Sunday Easter? That may throw a jelly bean in my plans to ride. But I'll check these forums this weekend and see whats doing.

 

Anyone want to make a plan for this coming Saturday or Sunday afternoon? Otherwise, a week night could be good after the coming weekend.

 

PGA - Its looking like 40% or better chance of rain starting Friday and predicted for all next week as well. I'll ride in the rain, but not my favorite choice. I wouldn't mind getting out for an evening run sometime, but at work this is my busiest time of year. This week is hell, so not happening.

Let's keep an eye on the weather and see what happens. I know that Dino (on this forum as well) wanted to get out this weekend.

 

........................so answering this like what....two weeks late has nothing to do with the lack of tread on my rear tire that fall.

Does anyone have any plans for tomorrow morning? I know there is the threat of rain but you never know.

 

Major long honey-do list on Saturday. Dirt ride Sunday. I did however clock in a quick hundy on Thursday afternoon. It was fun.

Let's plan something for Memorial Day weekend.

 

I can't ride tomorrow unless it's later in the day (3:00p.m.). Memorial weekend is terrible for me unless it's, you guessed it, later in the day and that's a little too far away for me to commit to it yet. With my job, other's leisure time is my work time. Neat.
