Dude has one of those fancy new airbag suits on. Shame he's not wearing his helmet as well.

    -or-

When you are that big, you can power the scooter from the methane

    -or-

What works harder, the brakes or the clutch?

    -or-

I the bike is able to move, the b!tch fell off.

    -or-

    The suspension feels soft.

    - or -

What's the point of the mirrors? he's only gonna see what's in his front pockets.

I actually flew a guy like that who was drunk riding a moped on a dirt trail and rode it off a small cliff. (had to leave the paramedic behind due to weight issues)
We never saw the moped. My pilot made a point of telling the trauma doc to look for it in the patient's rear. The trauma room was quiet for a second---
    before the laughter broke out.

oh my god of all the times not to have a camera. I rode to the parents house on Cape Cod last weekend and just over the Bourne Bridge there is an Ihop. Now, I am on the VFR, in leathers, dressed for anything. I passed the single largest group of T-shirt and flip flop wearing calamari the world has ever seen in that Ihop parking lot. They heard the LV pipes and they all turned, I just looked in amazement. The sea of chromed out GIXXERs and R6's was neverending. I only looked for a few seconds, but I did not see a SINGLE jacket on any of the guys, and alllllll the girls were in full riding gear (aka hotpants/wifebeater/flipflops. Its too bad, some of em were cute, I coulda stopped and said, hey, any of you ladies wanna ride with a guy who is going to live to see his next birthday?

I saw them and immediately thought of this thread. My bad for not having a camera!

Hey, I like a little IHOP and Waffle House myself, but in DE the clientele vigouriously sands the back of their necks with 80 grit sand paper every morning.

I'm a little 'neck' myself, but I only use 220.

Wow, the link you sent let me find
    http://www-nrd.nhtsa.dot.gov/Pubs/810834.PDF

page 6 is amazing to learn...so many drunk riders.
    2.5x as many as drivers
24% of bike fatalities did NOT have a licence
    27% where speeding
intresting watch for turning cars. 78% the bike t-boned the car.
49% of deaths had licence violations...(mind you i think 80% of ppl have at least some violation)
35% of driver fault was cars failing to yeild....again watch turing cars.

    amazing stuff to read.

    PS
6% last action was steering to avoid..3x more effective than breaking. still discresion but intresting to note and wounder how it relates to experiance.

    PPS

    http://www.iii.org/media/hottopics/insurance/motorcycle/
    super sports 25%
    Sport 10%
    cruiser 5%
    touring 6%

i estimated but basic idea... assume we are sport but no real details.
