Washington State registration fees

Just noticed I got hit with a $25 weight fee... on my VF700F.

I know it's a heavy bike but this is total BS.

Now to find time to write these assholes.

 

So typical of Washington bureaucrats SMH.. are you in the ST3 boundary? if so, wait till you see your renewal fee.

I don't see an increase yet in my property tax. I heard on the radio someone's went up $3000. Hopefully he owns a McMansion.

Wow, a weight fee. Now in my dealings with the DOT I could see a "wait" fee due to the amount of time you spend sitting around cooling your heels.

 

A weight penalty on a motorcycle? That's insane! The bureaucrats must have been smoking a LOT of recreational weed to come up with that one :witless:

I hope for the sake of some. that sitting on the bike is not part of the weighing process. I wonder how long it will be before hordes of harleydoods descend on the Capitol in Olympia wearing those pink knit hats telling the politicians that their fat boys do not really weigh that much.

The "logic" behind the weight fee is, the heavier the vehicle, the more wear and tear on the roads.

There's no longer anything resembling taxation with representation.

I read recently where a motorcycle chain tax is coming as well. Hell, these politicians have to eat too.... They can all eat shit as far as I'm concerned. IF they removed govt. waste, they would be working too.

Just wait. We already pay an environmental fee (read tax) on electronics. Soon they will be adding a paper recycling fee to computers to off set what the paper users will have to pay because they insist on paper as opposed to Electronic communication.
