Wake up Lehigh Valley PA VFRs!!!!

I hope I am done putting it back together tonight. Everything that could go wrong...did. I just need to put the chain on it, oil change, the plastics and do a starter valve sync. Can you believe I removed and installed the new shock on Sunday in like 90 min! And I thought that was going to be the hard part. Doing the valve adjustment messed me up because I needed some 1.80mm shims and a 1.85mm shim so I lost a day due to that.

 

Yea, WTF was that all about in not eating lunch? I justified it by saying who needs to eat when your riding. But on the final 30+ miles for me slabbing it home, I sure was hungry!

 

Dam! I am going to strap on the tank bag a put a few Jersey Mikes Subs in it!

Welcome mikeym. Yeah for sure! Keep an eye on the posts here and give us a shout when you can join us. I am just north of Kutztown near Kempton not far off of Rt. 737. I ride through the Kutztown area every now and then. If you wanna hook up for a local ride around here sometime let me know.

 

We're actually closer than you might think... I'm actually in New Smithville on fenstermacher rd... I have a Kutztown address though...

 

No kiddin'! Looks to be between 5-7 miles apart... provided Google Maps' spelling is correct.... it's labeled as "Fenstermaker". If so, I've ridden right past your road many times when I run Eagle Point Rd., Mill Creek Rd., and New Smithville Rd.

Dirt bike? No...just kidding....actually I shitted up my left arm and not sure what I did but it's gonna' need some love. Guess I'll have to ride the red whiteand blue one for a while......just gotta' remember not to put a foot out.

I'm up for next Sunday.

 

When are you going to stop riding those ridiculous dirt bikes, you arent getting any younger you know! :tongue:

 

I'm up for something depending on which way you are headed. Like if you do a Pocono Hickory Run or something like that I would hook up with you guys somewhere along your route rather than meeting at the Del. Water Gap. And I'm not gonna make you ride all the way into Allentown again.

Did the Cabela's ride today from Martin Motorsports. Martin Motorsports | Kawasaki Triumph Yamaha Suzuki | Boyertown, Pa Gonna try to make the "DAM" Ride on May 2nd.

I plan on doing that "DAM" Ride on Sunday May 2nd that I mentioned above, weather permitting... click on the Martin's link for info.

 

I'm fishing in Phoenixville on Sat, camping at Rausch Creek on Sat night, then off-roading all day Sunday. If I ride, it'll prob be Friday right at 5pm after work.

 

Scratch that last post. I may be riding on Sunday now instead. Anyone in the close area wanna stop by a local Sonic meet for my one car club? It's at the Morgantown Sonic Sunday and I wanted to grab some photos, some dessert, then ride.

 

Probably won't make it down there this time, but maybe another time somewhere in between our locations for a ride. I've met a few other VFR riders around the area lately as well.... maybe we could all meet up for a ride.
