Welcome! I'm jealous of your RWB '07. Someday I'll have one next to my 85 VFKR. I'm down in Elizabeth City, NC but I work at Little Creek so I'm up there everyday. Suppossed to be nice next week (Wed/thurs.) so if you see an ole VF1000R rolling around that'll be me. I haven't seen another one around here in my two years here.

im still stuck in Japan but once May 1st hits ill be in Norfolk with an itch to get out so let me know if you guys want to set something up

 

I've been riding all winter about 1 or two times each week. This past week, with the nice weather, I've had the VFKR parked since I'm waiting to replace the clutch. Little slippage ~ 6000 rpm. I'm getting ankle surgery on the 29th so I'll be out for a few months.

I'm always riding and looking for rides. Just installed new tires last wed. And have fresh oil. Will need another chain soon but I'm good for now.
I'm off the first week of April so I can ride then. I have some use-or-lose days to take before June so I can even do a couple mid week rides.

haha....sorry man im in the middle of all my stuff and checking out of japan i havent had alot of time on here. we will figure something out

 

I'll be back in VA by this fall probably, we usually ride out from Dulles to Deep Creek Lake on 50... lotta good twisties through the mountains there. Can't wait to get back east.

Anyone going to make opening Bike Night at Quaker Steak and Lube in F'burg on Wednesday the 11th?

 

in frostburg?? if so i didnt know anything about it and i might stop up...im in keyser so its not far.

 

F'burg = Fredericksburg Virginia. So, Kim's far south for you. Keyser is where my best friends's family is from.

 

86 500 been parked for almost 8 years...hope to get back on the road in a month or two.
