I got up late and replaced my RH handlebar then went for a couple our ride. No rain up here.
Heading to Summit Point sun/Mon with MotorcycleXcitement. Gonna finally try out Shenny.
What's the latest on that hurricane/depression/monsoon heading our way? The rains are mounted but I don't wanna bring 'em.
one has to go
1998 Honda VTR1000F Superhawk
2002 Honda F4i track bike
hard to say. i would probably keep the f4i for track and street. but the vtr would be more practical
actually, the f4i gets better gas milage, is more comfortable, and has fuel injection. so the f4i wins for practicality. but the superhawk just has so much more personality. ive been thinking about getting rid of both and my car, and replacing them with 1 bike. need to get out of this financial rut.
i drive a 96 jetta i've had for 5 years. its not pretty but its a quality made car and gets 30 mpg. but i would always own a car cause i'm too lazy to get all geared up for a short ride to work in 10°f mornings at 6am. but it sucks having financial difficulties. you gotta do what you gotta do to survive.
but it is cheaper to keep what you have then to purchase something else.
Ok bitch ass honkey mo-fos....Fall is here. The best riding season is here. Second half of oct and early nov I can prolly take ome weekdays off. Weekends are always up Sat is best day.
what is this riding thing you talk about. you make it sound like this thread is about motorcycles or something.
If anyone knows of a VFR for sale in the Virginia area (preferably a 5th gen), please let me know!
want a superhawk? 1998 Honda VTR1000F Superhawk
I know. What am I thinking?
NJMP on tuesday!
anyone want to ride this sunday?
I was actually just thinking about going out this Sunday; where you riding?
Would love to ride Sunday!
Just need to find a VFR in my area first...
Thought I finally found one a couple states away but his buddy is going to scoop it up instead (don't blame him).
I just can't catch a break finding a 5th gen...
sorry man looks like im not gonna be able to ride after all. hope this mild weather continues!
Sunday looks good for a ride. Probably meeting up at 522/711 around 0930 and heading west.
Check your inbox Falco!
This coming Sunday? Does 930 mean 11? 522 711?
Crap, I'd have to get up earlier than I do for work... Fat chance...
Yes, this Sunday. 0930 means 0930. Hoping to leave by 1000. We'll likely do the usual route, no 501 like that one time you came. So you could split off and go back on 29, although traffic will likely be horrible anywhere north of Fredneck and Warrenton.
