Picked up the 750 a couple of months ago. Figured the best way to get used to the bike was to get it on the track as soon possible. It was a blast on the track! Still getting used to the bike but it did everything I asked it to! I'll have to look into that VIR date. Me and my buddy are going to hit up VIR. Its just matter of which date works out. Going to hit up Summit.

Took the gixxer out for a 350+/- mile trip last Sunday. Man oh man, did I take out the wrong bike out of the garage that morning. How/why do sportbike riders do it? Next time, I'm taking the VFR out on trips like that. That's why I still have it in the garage and haven't sold it. I like what the gxsr offers me but I love what my VFR does for me.

LOL! It's not my mother, its my wife I have to worry about. And she cares very little about my happiness. Just enough to let me own two bikes and let me know how much she hates them.

Comming off a goldwing, this seems cramped. Cool buzz above 6500 tho !!!

coming off a gold wing anything is going to have a more forward position!

btw, I sold the vfr :( A guy came down from PA to pick it up last Friday. Really didn't want to see it go. The more and more I thought about it the more I came to the conclusion that this isn't the right time in my life for two bikes. So now I have additional funds to support my new crack habit! The track is where it's at!

Well it was nice knowin ya! Maybe we'll meet at the track some time. But don't expect anything more than a "hello". You sold out on us man. Just when I thought we had a solid group of Honda riders...you went and bought a gixxxeeeerrrrrrr. Hope you enjoy enjoy terrorizing the city streets, drag racing from light to light. I'm sure you'll get lots of attention from your boyz once you chrome those wheels out. That extended swingarm you were asking me about will look good too. I'll sell you my takeoffs for cheap so you won't have to ride around on tires with blatant flat spots from all the "launches" you'll be doing. Honestly, I kinda knew this was coming. Hopefully you're VFR will see many more miles of curvey mountain roads. You always hated them anyway, anytime someone mentioned 211, I remember you ALWAYS chimed in "Why don't we cruise 495 instead? There's a lot less turns and we can blaze that sh*t at a buck fiddy cuz the cops ain't catchin my 7 fiddy!". Happy trails gixer rider....happy trails...

HAHHAHA! I'm gonna kick you in the ballz the next time I see you! I can't sign up for the May 8th date but I'm looking to sign up for a VIR day. Which date is everyone signing up for in July? I'm signed up already to run with MARRC at Summit at the end of May.

i did the other way around (patriot first) 2 years ago. could barely to full the next day. quads were soaked in pain. Patriot has no straights and you do like 120 laps in a day compared to maybe 40 on full. You can "rest" on full's back and front straights (if you call 160mph resting).
