48 Years old, my wife is 31 we've been married 4 years, been together 6, we have a 18 month old boy. I have 4 boys from my previous marriages, 22, 20, 12, and 10. My 22 year old has a 2004 Honda CBR600RR, we ride together when we can. My wife has a 2007 Ninja 250 and I'm trying to get her to ride more. I work in IT for a major advertising company running the Infrastructure, Operations, Facilities and IT Procurement teams. I started riding when I was 23 on a Honda V45 Magna. I had that bike for 6 years, put about 35k on it and then sold it when my older boys were toddlers, just wasn't riding it enough. Decided to get back into riding after my 22 year old bought a 1990s Ninja 600 and I rode that a bit. Bought my VFR in October and have put 5500 on her since then.

I'm a 28 year old black male. My 07 VFR is my first bike. I became interested in riding because my father (a retired USAF MSgt) rode Harley Davidsons, BMW's and a Triumph as a young airman (way before I was born). So, I got to see all of the cool pictures of him and my mother riding as young adults way back when. I first rode on a motorcycle when I was about 13...a Harley Davidson touring bike. That was my first exposure.

I'm not currently plagued by a wife or steady girlfriend. I was granted a divorce last year (thank you, judge) and I have no kids...unless you consider two Siamese cats children.

My occupation is as an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) launch officer in the United States Air Force. If this forum consists of people like most people around our base here, you guys might not know what this means. Well, if we go to nuclear war with someone...I'll be one of the ones "pushing the big red button." It's actually a key...and we turn it

Thank you to Kbrick, leftcoast and SCraig, I can now reply. Nearing 53 years, male and want to be a firefighter when I grow up. ( you guys really rock!!!). Married 29 years but not to the same woman. Happily for past 22. Two kids by present love, Shannon 21 and Kyle 19. No one likes my bike which suits me fine. Formerly Fed Employee, tried retirement for 3 days. It sucked so went back to work in Public Transit in security. Supervise 40 humanoids and manage fleet of 17 cars which cause me less trouble. First bike is present VFR bought July 06. 50,000KM since and lov'n it. Like mountain biking, woodworking and golfing but am the shits at the later. Am passionate about cleaning and detailing all five of our vehicles only to go out and play in the mud afterwards with the Jimmy. Any psychiatrists out there who can help? :canada:

    I'm 60. Been married for 37 with a 32 year old son.

Started riding in 1964 (50cc Suzuki). Got my pilot's licence about 12 years ago. Working currently as a buyer for a large grocery chain but spent first 36years of my career working for Kodak. Took early retirement in '04 but a colleague called and went back to work in '05. Probably pack it in sometime this year though.

21 year old female, with boyfriend

No Children, 2 sweet and loving dogs -
2 year old pure bred American Pitt Bull ~90 lbs
    1 year old 2/3 American Pitt / 1/3 Black Lab ~60 lbs

Grew up on a farm raising beef cattle, raising hay crops, and tremendous amounts of logging (cut down trees with ax, and chainsaws). Got my first "real" job a week after my 14th birthday doing light accounting, and cashiering. I rose high within that company in the 6 years I worked there before moving to Washington for about a year. My job up there was for a hydraulic type company as the sales administrator. I am back in Oregon now as a FT Controller's assistant, and sadly still not making the big bucks!!!

I also go to school full time, double major in Accounting and Finance. Within the next couple of years I will have my bachelors degree, and start working on my masters.

I rode horses as a child, three wheelers, quads, and started out on some old trail 90's of my brothers. Currently have my 80 over Blaster (too slow!) and my 86 VFR.

I must say that I have also been very impressed by the maturity of this site. I have been around a lot of other car sites (another interest of mine... no not the over stickered, coffee can mufflered type) and was driven away by how everyone acted.

Am I young enough to bring that average age down???

Accounting and finance huh? I guess we're outliers then.
