i think we need to get a hold of Dan's niece and convince her to elope so Dan can attend the g2g and lead a
few rides!
the last i checked, we have at least 4 different routes: park has posted 2, i have posted 2 and i think matt has posted one (or is it the same as one of park's routes?) and abner has posted a shortened version of the tn route i posted.
only 1 route...out:. many routes...:nod:!

 

Cherohala Skyway is awesome, one caveat I have is to make sure to fill up your gas tank all the way because for the entire route there are no gas stations. There isn't even a McDonalds or a vending machine for that matter.

 

How many are we up to? I think the last was 42

so is anyone upgrading there bike for the ride? ie exhaust or suspension?

Oh yeah new EBC brakes, tried to order new performance rotors but was canceled by the manufacture. I guess I will try Chinese rotors

 

I'm looking forward to getting up there for 2-3 days, making new friends and leading a ride as long as I can afford it. Being out of work for a while has really drained the ole pocketbook. Luckily my friend is bringing his RV up and I have a place to stay. Motorcycle Ins. and boarding the dog are my only concerns right now. As much as i'd like to ride both my RC51 and my VFR750 while i'm there i'm sticking with the VFR for the g2g.

I was about to get the EBC pro lite but the price ($550) kills me so I'll give those cheapies a whirl! Even if I get a year out of them I'll be happy. My existing EBC Pro lite rotors are already shaking at high speeds and I've had them for almost 3 years so far.

009 Shinko and a 3 year old grandson to remind me to come home in one piece. The 009 Shinko on the bike have a little over 6000 miles on them, there gone but man at $162 hard to beat.

i grew up in south knox, and all my family is still there, near seymour
i visit pretty often, and try to get there on the bike a couple of times in the summer.
i came to the honda hoot several years ago, i wish they were still doing it.

one of my best friends has a indy porsche resto and race prep shop near lovell rd.

 

I know this place indy resto, yeah I married a Goddard so I know about seymour, we now live in Powell you were very close.
