Joey, I'm sorry you feel the way you do.... but I understand completely. I've felt like giving it up a few times myself. Perhaps it's best to get awayfrom it for a while and see if you miss it. Have you ever done a track day? I think that would be a sure fire way to reinspire you. I would however ask you to reconsider quitting until after the g2g only so we could all shake your hand and wish you well in person. Good luck either way!:thumb:

Hmmm... you know what with this ride being so close away I might as well come on up for a day or so. I guess I'll be coming up after all!

Might as well go out in style huh?

I'm so ready for this ride. I just got back from an 800 mile ride (back roads Nashville to St. Louis and back for work), my Perelli Angles are nice & broken in...All I need to do is change the oil, the pair valve mod, evap can removal, and I'll be ready to go!:cheersaf:

When you do the PAIR valve mod, please remember how you got that damned FI light to go away. I have applied a carefully sized piece of electrical tape to turn mine off. :-(

I haven't heard of having an FI light when doing this mod but we'll see. I plan on doing this next week...I'll let you know.

I'm thinking of something more drastic. In my case, I ripped out a bunch of vacuum lines, that big quart-jar sized thing on the front of the engine and all associated plumbing. Capped off vacuum lines and tried to clean up the extraneous "stuff". Probably got carried away and pulled a needed sensor. :-(

Yeah, I had done the same or at least similar mod to a VTR and countless Kawasaki ZRXs. After trying unsuccessfully to reset the light, I plugged all the electro/mechanical modules back in and fired her up. Light went out but she ran like sh*t, so I got out the tape and covered the light. Test rides show no noticeable change in performance or fuel mileage but it is bugging the hell outta me knowing there is a system error in there somewhere. Grrrrrrrrr! :-(
