    I know they are, but I look at things through my rose colored glasses and consider these forums "public" becasue you invite a portion of the public in that has a similar interest for open discussion.

    Basically this site rocks, VFRD does not! plain and simple. this place is more way user friendly VFRD Not!.. Oh and yes to the Red and Black layout, LOL just once maybe for a month, Micheal could honor the 2000 VFR and make this site Yellow and Black... whats ya think?

    No, I wasn't pointed at me, I was about 3 cars back & I observed pretty much everything. The gun was was pointed straight up in the air. The guy simply put the gun above the roof of his truck so everyone could see it. Needless to say, he had no trouble merging after that. The next thing I saw was about 35 people open their cell phones to dial 911. The funniest part about the whole thing? The guy was middle eastern/arabic. Way to go Mustafa, way to reinforce stereotypes.:thumb:

    Thanks to everyone for their responses!

    I figured once the thread got rolling a VFRD mole would report our findings, which would result in the administrator of VFRD to come comment and enlighten us on "tool policy".

    But alas, it was not meant to be!

    Who knows, maybe if I get bored enough this winter I will go trolling LOL! I know what bait to take for a guaranteed bite.

    I have a legion of non-riding friends who are more than glad to get "chucked" for a cause.

    you know we have only had a couple instances where people came over from VFRD and had a prob with VFRW or vice versa. The last incident I remember I remember was actually us making a complaint when someone took the T-shirt design that Michael came up with over to VFRD and tried to get a group buy from cafepress but with vfrd.com down at the bottom. the moderator over there cleared it up very quickly and professionally. we also had a case where someone came over here and said something about this site not being good because the first time they logged in the top thread was everyone complaining about vfrd. at the time, I was a bit insulted because I felt that vfrd rarely comes up other that being listed as a place to 'also look' for info, but now, I don't really care. we have our regulars, they have their's. I still go there for info if I can;t find it here, but I still like it better here.

    I recall seeing a post on VFRD addressing that, I thought it was the site admin who sorted that out.

    I haven't been to VFRD for a while, I must have a look again sometime. There are usually some on bike videos available for download...
