Hey Carfanatic, sorry for your problems with the viffer, but was wondering if you ever used Seafoam while you had this bike? or Stabil? I use Seafoam regulary and it cleans gum and keeps fuel line and injectors clean/clear! It might help out with your clogged injector??? Worth a try I think:rockon:

Has there been an update to this? Did you get to the bottom of the issue?

Still working on the bike. Sent the injectors out for cleaning and reassembled the bike but now it won't run for more than 5 seconds before dying. If I give it any throttle it dies immediately. The FI light is signaling a fault IAT sensor but that shouldn't be causing these issues I would think. I am going to strip it back down and make sure I didn't miss anything and reassemble to see if I can get it running. It is running on all 4 cylinders though when I start it up and the idle sounds good when it does idle.

Try taking the VFRness out. Tightwad and I were never able to make it work on my 2003, and it behaved the same way...
