I've taken my bone stock 6th gen to 150 indicated. I was pulling alongside somebody else that stayed within my headlights the whole time and he had a gps indicated 140 iirc

my bike will run over 100 in 4th... dont remember how high, but 5th will def get you to top speed quicker when you run it all the way out. I had it over 150. Its just hard to look at speedo at top speeds around here. Near the mtns there is always turbulence. I am sure now that I put the Pipewerx pipe on and tuned the PCIII it will run faster than it had then. I have not attempted it again. Or should i say yet?

153 as indicated on the Y2K 5th Gen on US41 / Cobb Parkway early Sunday morning in the hole between the Marietta PD and Kennesaw PD jurisdictions. Still had some left to wind up just ran out of "Dead Zone" not regularly patrolled by the Statey's, County's and Local LEO's.

5th gen, indicated 140 coming back from the LA area. It had more, but I didn't want to go any faster... I didn't want to lose the Gixxer 750 I was riding with.

Going back there for IMS first week in December, and I'll have to GPS the speed to see how fast we really go.

Anybody have a GPS that indicates altitude and barometric pressure. The mach 1 91's last run was at the new Pikes Peak all asphalt course where mach is different at 5K' than at sealevel. ...and BTW I never do this stuff in school zones.

    165mph on my 1996.

Fully tucked behind my double bubble windscreen.
Staintune Carbon exhaust (with restrictor removed)
    Carbs jetted too.

    Nothing feels like that. :)

145.4 on my '07 RWB from a standing start, in 1 mile. As some have read, last weekend at the Texas Mile. Official timing. Speed still increasing after going thru trap, albeit slowly.

Top speed on my 5th Gen VFR was 145mph,and on my 6th Gen I have done 150mph - I hit 165mph on my 04 R! after flashing the ECU. I also did 140mph on my ole Yamaha Thundercat 600R. My 94 Suzuki VS800 Intruder topped out at 110mph.

So WTF is "VFR World is not responding due to long running script"? Is this some thing Long is doing just to mess with us or what?

^ The website is exhausted and must rest for a moment. ^

1991 in original black paint and 155 pound rider hit 135.5 mph in 2013.
Youngsters shouldn't be allowed such extravagant experiences.

Thanks..That lets Long off the hook.

New question.. The 91's sold here were red. Canada too I think. What or who makes decisions like that? Honda in Torrance, CA has or had a young engineer who influenced later color choices but the decisions as to colors and who gets what has always been sort of a mystery.

They can, my 5th gen hit 161 according to my garmin eTrex. Flat straight line 5 mile road out on the plains.

My current 2nd gen has done about 135 but I've not really pushed it.

Fastest I've had is an indicafed 150 and that was with my huge e55 box on the back. Unfortunately i had to come off for a junction. Bike could've done a fair bit more. This was on a 6th gen
