Bike is very dirty, did not have time to wash it. Would not show work and effort put into this bike when dirty. I will try to wash it over the weekend, then take proper pictures and upload here:) Thank you for advice on the app, but I don't use smartphones, just old good 6310i :D[/QUOTE]

You put a tremendous amount of work into the old girl. It shows! Good job and great documentation; thanks!

What backlight LED’s did you use for the instrument panel.

    Cheers

    Hi,
I bought LEDs from ebay, just checked compatibility and picked no brand ones in blue. However, I never installed LEDs for oil, fi, neutral, high beams because they were too big and did not fit at all:( So back light for the clocks are LEDs, lower part of the dash old bulbs. Probably my mistake when buying leds.

Just really keen to find out which ones you used because a lot of mods have bright spots because the leds are to powerful.
So if you can find which ones that would be coolS
    Cheers

    Yes please.
Really hard to find the correct ones that don’t overpower the backlighting.

Unfortunately I don't have any of dashboard leds left, just the ones which were supposed to go into controls and did not fit, too fat. I checked my ebay history but it was long time ago when I bought it and I could find nothing. Sorry about that.

    Hi, cheers for that.
Are these exactly the same shape as the ones you used for the dash and I assume the plastic colour is also the colour of the light that is being emitted?

No, the dash board ones are big. I have just noticed, if you zoom in on pictures attached you can see them:)

Perhaps to help you along with your decision..........

    20210511_184941.jpg

I used Superbright LED's in mine, green for backlighting, amber for turn signal indicators.... these are the larger ones, #194.
Small ones for the warning lights are #74 in the appropriate colour. Note, do not put an LED in the FI light, it needs to stay incandescent or it will not turn off.

These are bright enough to be easily seen in daytime.... at night they will seem much brighter and might be a bit much. However, not intending to ride this bike at night....

Like your mod but , I do need to ride the bike at night time and I need something that does not overpower the instrument panel with light at night.
    Cheers though.

    I am thinking of:
    1. Clear clutch cover
    2. Mirrors with indicators , blank off old ones.
    3. Changing head light bulbs for something more advanced.
    4. Turbo:D just joking:)

Great work, bike must be brilliant to ride now, just thinking of doing a bar conversion on mine to the hurricane type.
