I don't know, that's why I was suggesting that you check it!

So I went home on my lunch....pads seem to be in position....and they move freely.

The caliper bracket doesn't sit perfectly straight compared to the rotor. I can't see why it's sitting like this when the spacers are tight with the swingarm....and the rotor isn't rubbing anything but the pads.

    Also noticed another thing:

^^ That's how close the center stand is to the tire. One more reason to yank it off.

the center stand has alot of free play in it i would just remove it before it starts rubbing the tires which might cause a worse situation

That's sounds like the problem with the swingarm casting I mentioned previously. You might try checking to see how the bracket fits in that tab on the swingarm. Let me know what you find out.

Of course, none of my bikes have a center stand so this was not part of the design!

I popped the center stand off....so that's one less problem to worry about.

I haven't had any chance to look at the brakes cause it's either night time or raining!!

I did take the bike for a nice little jaunt and occasionally it feels a bit odd....some vibration....and an odd wobble at high speeds....enough to shake the handle bars if I'm not holding on to them. (I had my hands off them to check for vibration)

Something about the bike feels wrong....kinda like it's not as stable as smooth as it was before

Let's not forget that your rear ride height is lower now than stock. The wheel/tire is a big improvement but the lower ride height is affecting the front somewhat. The new shock coming your way will help that quite a bit.

Correct, the rear wheel does not need to be removed to install the shock.

So what can be done to the front to improve this. I ask cause when my bike goes in 4 the winter, I plan on the rear wheel swap. I already have, the rim and tire, just need to order the kit f/ you.

I would also like to know.

I have a spare set of forks I was either going to send to Jamie for some Gold valving and rebuilding....or take it somewhere local (or DIY) new springs, fork oil, fork seals, and dust boots.

    Who me?

Well, like I mentioned earlier, the bike feels a little odd. Some vibration through the pegs at certain speeds....no rear brakes yet.

...and I get a really bad wobble when slowing down at a certain speed.

It feels slightly unstable at slow speeds...like when crawling up to a red light.

glad to see you got the wheel on. are you sure it is straight? Did they balance the rim when they put the new tire on?

I have the chain adjusters set to the same notches on both sides.

I put the bike on the rear stand and ran it in first gear and watched the tire and chain.....they seem straight to me.

I also had a friend tail me in their car and watch my rear tire at 60km/h up to 130 km/h ......looked straight to them.

What would a poorly aligned wheel feel like?

What does a bent frame feel like?

(Don't say "Like a tire that is not aligned properly")

If it isn't visibly off but still out of alignment I think you would only notice when you were cornering. Your handlebars would shake or wobble while in a turn

My handle bars have never been completely smooth.

Nothing really has changed except now when slowing down (Engine braking) the handle bars will get very wobbly at a certain speed.....I didn't notice until I let my hands off the grips ever so slightly.

that could be from worn out steering stem bearings, you've change one part of the bike now everything else will feel different wait till you put the rear shock on it then it will change again!
