yea, it was there when I first looked, just 1 bid. madness.

The write up says how well it was mechanically maintained, the owner just didnt clean it very often it says. I say, what ever I see on the outside is a reflection whats gone on with the inside, ie if the guy didnt clean it, he likely didnt maintain much else either.

desperate times.... 3k for a battle barge. Feels like buying anything in California. :(
I am wrong all the time, I just have a short memory so it doesn't feel so bad.

I am so glad I bought the Honda Element that replaced the Suburban right before this pricing shit storm descended. It was perfect timing, the used market was starting to get hot and the Burb was desirable still because of how it was optioned (everything when I factory ordered it) and the Element was thru an acquaintance and a solid deal.

I believe that the forks have a retaining ring above the handle bars … this one seems to have the bars passed that mark. Or was it below ?
    I’m out of town so I can’t verify on my F …

Yeah, they've got them slid up. I never thought a stock VF1000F was too extreme of a riding position, the bars are pretty tall. I put VFR bars on mine to get lower.

Actually each fork has 3 rings: Above and below the air cross over, and above the handlebar.

Me thinks the buyer visited this thread and realized he'd bid way too much .
