The engine is now out of the frame for tuning, so any dyno results are not available for the moment

There was a guy (retired USAF major) in Florida , who made an excelent RD500, but it took a long time and work as I remember, a very akward bike, the RD I would go for the RG500 from suzuki or the NS400 from Honda.

I reckon it's rather difficult to get hold of a 2-stoke engine in the states, but if you manage to get hold of one , start building, you'll have alot of fun....

plan on it, I love the 2 strokes and I should have kept my RZ 500
I plan on putting the engine in a newer chassis like a vfr 400 or poss a tz 250 frame

The vfr400 is perfect, and can take larger engines, keep us informed. But don't use the SSSA !!

No, thats why I went for the RC36/2 (4 gen) the basic is very good, a rigid frame, no flex, easy to get hold of and fairy cheap, I bought my for 3000$ in good running condition low mileage, you know why Ducat stil uses the SSSA? only for looks! They are Italian and I forgive them!

indeed it is. it is my avatar. I have ridden with at least 6 guys from this board with my 92 and appeared in last years calendar, but sadly, this thread is about you and your bike.

So far we have a mysterious 140-160HP Gen 4 with no dyno sheets, 1 picture, and a missing link on a norwegian website to a "video" of this monster...
