Welcome to the Dysfunctional family!!!! It seems to me you will fit in well here. (I mean that in the best way of course) You have one hellofa set-up there. Looks really good. I got a chuckle from the sticker behind your GPS mount. Have fun and ride safe!

    Thanks.

The passenger is Mr. Buzzlebee. A friend got him for me because my SV is yellow/black. He's my traveling companion.

This is how windy it was on the way back traveling through South Dakota.

It took me 10 photos to get this one, I had to keep checking to make sure he was still back there.

I will have to take some more detailed pictures of the powered tank bag and the CB setup inside the fairing when I do the oil change this week.

I'll get pictures of the tank bag up tomorrow. I just put her to sleep for the winter today. The back tire is shot and so is the chain. I've found several big cuts in the tread and I'm getting horrible feedback due to both so better to play it safe and not push the back tire any more. It does have nealy 11,000 miles on it, I've not pushed a tire that far and it has a plug that still holds air, no leaks. The chain is original and after a thorough clean, adjustment and relubrication Saturday, it's far out of spec, lol, 16,000 miles will do that.

To date, I've put 13,000 miles on in 6 months. The bike is phenominal. I got the SV out to do winter duty and daily chores until the snow won't stop flying and i'm forced to get the snowshoes out, lol.

    For the winter:

    New shoes, Pirelli Angel ST's
X-ring chain, DID or RK, new sprockets, probably going to a 17/42 combo
    Starter valve adjustment
    Valve check
    Brake fluid flush
Installation of a switched fuse block up front to run the tank bag, CB, GPS and possibly auxillary lights

Welcome. I like your Storm Trooper. I like the SV650 too. I think the full faring makes a huge difference in the looks. Curse my small garage!

Great job Ranger and welcome. Sorry to pick up on this thread late. I was at the Pine Bluff portion of the Slimey Crud Run on my '07 RWB. I saw a black 6G and probably missed yours. Thanks for letting us FIBS use your back roads.
