I have had the same problem, the problem was R/R. New R/R and the problem was solved. In the same time I also exchanged the battery just to know that both where ok.
It was the battery in the end- 1 week later the battery was totally dead. Clock hasn't reset once since new battery was put in!
+20,000 Its the battery. I had the same problem on my 2005 with over 40,000 miles. A new battery will solve the issue. Be careful with the new sub harness from the recall as well. I had a ham-fisted tech crush the pins in the plug on the harness which gave me intermittent contact which fried the R/R AND my battery. I guess his motto was, "If it don't fit then force the hell out of it until the owner can ride it off the lot!" That place is out of business now... :thumb:
