Transition from Passenger to Pilot

Thank you one and all for your insight. I knew I could count on getting good info.
The question just came to me and I wanted to see what you all thought.

She is interested in bikes a this point, but does not even drive yet. I would not even think of buying her a bike and sending her on her way at this point. The parents that do that are the ones I make fun of. I am merely exploring how one would get a younger person started in riding. I have no idea because I waited till I was 36.
