Townsend Tennessee Weather Conditions During Spring Break?

I'm considering camping in or near Townsend TN over spring break. I'm wondering if anyone from the area can give their input on the weather at that time of year (third week of March). I've read this Great Smoky Mountains National Park - Weather (U.S. National Park Service) and while it looks like the weather should be okay, I would love to have input from the locals if possible.

We will be camping and hiking, and the VFR will unfortunately stay at home this time....
